Thumping of water pipes in room
very small shower cubicle
food in the bar and at breakfast was good
Evening food was disappointing...
Shower cubicle quite small for a big man
Staff were excellent Food delicious Excellent location
I was booked in as one person but when going to pay bill I had been booked in as a couple. It was quickly sorted, but glad i queried the bill.
Basic but clean and comfortable. Very convenient to town centre.
Lounge not open (just bad timing on our part!)
Good food; generous helpings, friendly and helpful staff, super shower easy to operate.
Rooms very small Loud at night (water running, people's showers etc)
Bed was excellent Friendly & helpful staff
the room was grubby and so was the bathroom. could do with a face lift
the staff were friendly and food good
no bad points
we had a lovely stay here. will def be back. the room was so clean and modern. the bed was nice and comfortable. the staff was so nice.
Bed wasnt made on arrival looked like had been slept in. Half full waterbottle on table. Wet towels in corner of bedroom. Nosy with pub downstairs
Friendly reception staff. Offered to cook me breakfast after I missed cut off
carparking could be awkward at busy times
Bedroom excellent,,,pleasantly surprised
The room I had was directly situated above the restaurant and it was quite noisey. I was staying in the hotel because I had an exam the next day and I found it hard to study due to the noise below in the restaurant. Also there was a speaker right outside my room playing music which I found a bit distracting as well.
my stay was far to short, but i certainly intend returning before to long !
a very welcoming approach, with pleasent service throughout my short stay. There was a homely atmosphere, and none of the overbearing (over the top) attention i've encountered in any of my recent NI overnight stays As a non driver, the location was excellent ( my main reason for trying out this venue!)
At the time of booking were not advise the family room was directly above a nightclub! Resulted in no sleep until club finished. Would have like to have know this at time of booking and checking in.
Excellent staff, very welcoming, excellent food.
Breakfast was excellent
Service Food (dinner and breakfast) Value for money
Close to road very noisy during nite
The rooms are 80s style decor..
My room was nice and warm clean good powerful shower. Good bar staff were very nice.
Very small car park full, though street parking available. Room was generally shabby, carpet on the inside of the door had horrible staining. Only one source of electricity which was an old four-gang extension cable (not sure this is legal?) and one of those sockets was seized up. Bathroom was dreadful - water running backwards from the filthy taps (don't know where it drained), botched cutout panels where toilet and washbasin outlet pipes entered the wall, no surfaces onto which to put toiletries - wouldn't dream of putting them on the floor! - no sealant round one side of the shower (again, don't know where the water would have been draining). Bathroom gave us the creeps. Reported all these things to the receptionist who seemed amazed but the appalling finish and this degree of dirt didn't happen overnight. Just before we went there was an email inviting us to upgrade our room for another £10 - what an insult!
Food was good - had evening meal and breakfast. Dining room staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
The nightclub was noisy
Friendly Staff Good Food
A number of dead wasps under the window.
Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.
There was nothing I disliked about this hotel. I would stay again.
Our room looked like it had been newly refurbished. Nice and modern. The staff were really helpful and let us have a late checkout as we had a late night at a wedding! The residents bar stayed open for us. Great facilities, no complaints.
Room Smelt of stale smoke Door very thin so could hear people in corridor very clearly
