The setting is fantastic - every Austin fan's dream. Close to everything but in a quiet location with great views. The hotel itself is beautiful, you walk through a discrete regency front door into a wonderful combination of history, functionality and good taste. It is larger than you'd expect set around an open courtyard with scented gardens, a luxurious bath house and dower house containing the restaurant and bar. The bedrooms were spacious, extremely comfortable with all the touches you'd expect from this calibre of hotel. The staff, without exception, were the best I've come across - polite, warm and attentive but not intrusive. We were introduced to our room and the facilities in a way that made us feel we were in a home away from home. Nothing had to be asked for; everything was offered or just there. Yes this is a luxury hotel and the price reflects it, but it is worth absolutely every penny. I can't wait to go again.

This was the second time we have stayed here at the Royal Crescent Hotel, and once again, we have a fabulous relaxing stay in Bath. The spa and gym are great, and were not busy the times we used them.

The hotel is a little tired in decor.

The whole atmosphere of the hotel was fantastic, the staff ensured that. The attitude of all the staff was excellent. The Spa was excellent and relaxing

The bed on wheels that move,s when you turn in bed, slight noise for the road but workable. No Tea and Coffee makings in the room, would have been a nice touch.

Location and view over Bath is fantastic. The food in the restaurant was also amazing. Finger crossed they get a star soon! Staff were very nice.

Parts of the hotel are in need of a refurb, but I believe this is about to happen. We look forward to visiting again.

Spa was fantastic, day staff ere incredibly helpful and pleasant, restaurant was great. Cream tea in the bedroom was an enjoyable luxury!

Breakfast service and late might service seemed unhappy and kept mistaking mistakes with the order. Some staff at night did not speak English which was a difficulty.

I liked everything, great customer service, tasty breakfast and gorgeous spa.

The staff were extremely helpful without being pretentious and the room (we got upgraded to a suite) was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight and although we did not use the spa again this looked first class

Especially liked the spa of the hotel, very courteous staff. Location is very good too and the general decor was impressive with hotel being divided in 2 parts with a garden in centre.

Probably bathrooms were very basic for a 5 star hotel, might be compensated by an amazing spa.

Great location. Able to walk to all sites & tourist points of interest. Very friendly staff which were most helpful, even making good recommendations for eating out in town. Didn't have to use the car once! Even left the car at hotel on our day of check out to make the most of our last day.

Food prices at hotel were a bit high.

location is really good, the hotel is in bad need of refurbishment, the food was excellent but on the other hand there was not any hot water in the morning, the bar is drafty and the overall experience was very expensive and disappointing.

location was stunning and grounds, layout and facilities were surprising. service was excellent and staff really friendly and welcoming.

room was beautifully laid out and decorated, but looked 'tired'. shower was useless and noise from upstairs room, and people trying to open bedroom door to corridor, was annoying. Food was pricey, and was not tempting enough to try.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel everything was excellent.

The warm welcome, the very helpful, friendly staff. The superb accommodation, the fabulous food, the relaxing spa. The service and whole experience was second to none. I was made to feel like Royalty! We shall definitely be back!
