Location good, rooms good, service good, breakfast good, dinner and drinks good. Not enough time to try the boat trip.
Service, location, food
Bed in alcove with dado rail around wall which we knocked our wrists and arms on every time we moved in bed! Sleepless night.
We particularly liked the staff who were helpful without being over attentive. Everyone was extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. A member of staff parked my car and our bags were brought to our room in a seamless fashion. The hotel room was excellent and we were impressed by the spa itself which was a very relaxing environment. Overall excellent and thoroughly recommended.
facilities, staff and ambience all fully up to the unique location. clearly much work has been done to preserve the character of the crescent whilst upgrading facilities to highest modern standards
temperature controls in room obscure
Friendly, efficient staff Excellent service Room was clean and quiet environment Facilities - spa/restaurants Setting
Wi-Fi signal very poor TV channel selection (no sport) Refreshments in the room lacking
Wonderful service and a beautiful hotel. Just what we wanted.
The way we was looked after.
food could have been a little hotter.
The staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, perfect portion size and good quality. The pool and hot tub also super. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming and not at all stuffy. The garden is lovely.
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The hot water was pumped to the room, the pump was noisy and the water stopped and started, if we had been there for more than a night I would have complained.
The staff are very helpful, warm and friendly. The decor is super stylish with luxurious fabrics and lovely colours. The garden is a glorious place to enjoy a drink, a meal or simply some quiet time in the sun with a book. I had two wonderful treatments in the spa - a pedicure and a massage. Parking is free and your car is valet parked for you. Their afternoon tea is as good as you will get anywhere.
Leaving! This hotel is paradise!
The delicate way I always felt treated
The internet wi/fi is awfull
The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. We were in desperate need of a reviving break where we could explore the arts. The stay provided this for us. We were not looking for a gastronomic extravaganza and the bar food was in this case an excellent alternative. Many Thanks Josie & Alan Barron
Beautiful location with lovely , friendly staff. Food highly recommended.
Small bedroom and faulty toilet!
Perfect place to relax, eat and drink and enjoy the city of Bath. Very fine garden. Also kind staff and lovely housecats ...
That we have to leave for our next destination!
The feeling of the establishment and the staff. Superb food with breakfast kippers to die for..
There were no mouth wash glasses in the bathroom.
Relaxed and friendly attitude of staff; The bed; The food; Lovely garden area; Good air con in room
High bath sides maybe need handrail to exit; The wardrobe (doors drove us bonkers!); No tea facilities as standard in room; No fridge / mini bar in room; more space for toiletries in bathroom
The service and facilities were exceptional.
What a lovely hotel! Well worth the expense. Very good food, wonderful breakfast in the garden - just a really nice stay with charming friendly staff. Would certainly go back
Couldn't find a mini bar in the room? Service a bit slow over dinner but a lot of people were eating outside which could have made it difficult for the staff
Excellent location and great breakfast
No view of the garden as booked
The helpfulness of the staff - nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely loved the restaurant - we can't wait to go back again.
Wi-fi was awful, but then we found that was the case in most of Bath.
The garden is magical and the atmosphere of the hotel very unpretentius. The minute you walk in you feel like at home, very comfortable and relaxed. The location cannot be beaten, perfect to walk everywhere and explore the beuties of Bath.
Fabulous food, location and friendly service!
