Ideal location. Helpful staff.
Lots of stairs. Not sure if there was a lift.
Rooms were OK and restaurant food was good
Lovely clean room loads of space great bathroom
Only double beds far too small very steep steps our daughter has mobility problems and had to crawl up the stairs on her knees
Had a lovely evening meal with lots of choice on the menu, pleasant surroundings. Nice comfortable room. Breakfast in the morning was great, really set us up for the long journey home. Would stay again.
accomodation and restaurant value for money staff excellent
Nicely decorated spacious room and friendly staff.
Window cleaner at 7 o'clock on a Sunday morning!
We were close to the Lochside Hotel for a wedding we were attending. The room was outstanding and value for money. Staff were really nice and food was great. Would book and stay again.
You can not fault the friendliness of the staff
What is there not to like
I liked the accommodation, room was superb. The food was excellent.
The outside noise. Was there on a Saturday night and across the square at the other side of the church was a pub/night club which went on till 1 am. Then there was the noise of the people leaving the pub etc.
Friendly staff, breakfast, size of room and comfort of bed. Overall a lovely hotel to use for an overnight.
This was an exceptional place to stay. Staff went out of their way, beds were comfortable and breakfast yummy. You cannot go wrong with staying here.
The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were well equipped and clean. Food and service was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to any one.
Breakfast cooked to order. Free Wifi.
comfort, food, service.
Somewhat too many stairs. Too little veg and fruit on menu. (But most hotels have this failng in my opinion.
Location Room size
ROOM-EXCELLENT FOOD-EXCELLENT STAFF EXCELLENT
PARKING LOCATION VERY NOISY OUTSIDE UNTIL 2.00 AM WITH TAXI RANK BENEATH WINDOWS
All except room
Room 7 noise at night due to external machine possibly extractor fan and people passing through alley way
Excellent breakfast Friendly staff Quality of room
Noisy revellers in the square outside at closing time
Everything was excellent Staff Food Room highly recommended. Will stay again in the future.
Noise in middle of the night with glasses being taken out/ thrown in bins for significant amount of time. Loud and slow deliveries of barrels meant no chance of sleep beyond 9am. Frustrating as both avoidable with some consideration
Food good although Sunday morning breakfast took far too long. Staff very helpful and attentive. Very clean
Room 9 uncomfortable beds, suitable for children only due to eaves, very noisy from people in street to staff putting bins out in early hours (especially bottles), lock difficult to work, shower no pressure-not worth using, sink taps not working properly, toilet took ages to fill up, shower curtain stained. Lighting not great. We were offered another room but it was very small would maybe have taken it if we had tried shower first. Perhaps management did not know of these issues because with a bit of maintenance it could be very good.
Centre of town. Friendly staff serving breakfast.
Not disable friendly too many stairs. 02;30am still noise from the bar. Would not stay again and compared to our first accommodation near Glasgow not value for money.
Breakfast served in room. Excellent breakfast.
We were at a wedding in the sister hotel about 3 miles away which was fully booked, our room was very spacious and very clean .
Did'nt spend enough time in it to fault anything as we were at a wedding.
