Excellent hotel, located in a classic English resort. The decor was spick and span, rather luxourious and classy. A tremendous place to stay. f

Fantastic! Free upgrade to best suite in hotel, lounge, bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 2 TVs, everything you could wish for in a first class 4 star hotel. Excellent food, hot breakfasts, very friendly staff. Lovely surroundings and very good location. Can definitely recommend it and will definitely be going back. Can't fault it.

Excellent staff, clean and very comfortable room with all necessities, fan, mini-bar, safe etc. Lovely luxurious Hotel with great sea views. Food superb. Will be looking to return later in the year if possible. Thank you very much. Thought some drinks a bit expensive, i.e. glass of port after dinner was very expensive for such a very small drink.

All the customer-facing staff were top drawer, the product, no doubt, of excellent training and a first rate team culture. We particularly liked the charming (and largely foreign) restaurant service. The offered Jan/Feb deal was very good value for money.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfy and had everything I needed. Although the food was amazing - the cost was ridiculously expensive.

Quality of service was exceptional, having arrived late the Night Manager could not have done more to ensure my stay was pleasant, including arranging an early breakfast time prior to my departure

The staff were all excellent. As a solo traveller it was nice to be greeted by a friendly face and have an occasional chat on the terrace. Allan was a particular delight, as were the reception staff and the breakfast staff. I would definitely visit the hotel again, and recommend it without reservation. Thank you for a lovely stay. The downstairs toilets were a little surprising, given the very high standards in the rest of the hotel, but I expect they are on your list for an update.

Well run hotel a short distance from the town centre, harbour and local amenities in Falmouth. Good parking. Room booked was a 'double with sea view' and we were expecting a room at front of the building with a full view overlooking the bay. The allocated room however was almost at the side of the building with a rather limited and slightly disappointing sea view.

To be very honest, not a great deal. Parking was ok, Staff were friendly, the bed was very comfortable, albeit we only stayed one night and did not use many of the facilities, generally we were disappointed seeing it is shown as a 4 star hotel. As an aside, I and my wife are 68 years old, I am still working and most of my life I have,as the Sales Director of an International Company, travelled extensively World wide, so can do comparisons both as a 4 star and price. Besides the above, the evening dinner. We chose your hotel, because we had friends living nearby, it was my wife's birthday and we invited our friends to dinner. There were only 5 main courses to chose from and the evening we were there, three of the courses were not available as of 8pm. When we sat down for dinner. Not a very good evening dinner experience.

The hotel is in a good location on the beach of Falmouth. The staff were excellent - a chambermaid checked on me in the morning and in the evening. The facilities were excellent - pool was very good. There are indoor and outdoor games in the hotel. It was a good base to explore the area of Cornwall. The breakfast was of a high standard. The hotel is being refurbished. The room had paint peeling off the skirting board. I made a complaint about electrics as my camera charger plug melted due to the old electrical system. I should have used a surge protector. This is the only downside. The room was very clean - just needed decorating thats all.

Location and general functionality. Rather impersonal 'feel' about the lounge/eating area's. Did not like the lighting. Lack of coziness in lounge area.

The location was, of course, first class, and that gives a big impression to start with. Whilst I found the room excellent for my requirements (a one night stay), it was slightly marred by the loud crashing of bottles being emptied into bins just outside my room quite early in the morning. Not a good start to the day. Really, nothing. The location and standard of the hotel made it a good experience

It was a lovely hotel, very luxurious with a nice pool. The sea view was breathtaking, the hotel is in a perfect setting right in front of the sea. It is close by to walk to the town/shops/museum. It is very quiet and relaxing. I loved the hotel entirely, apart from my bed - the pillows were hard as rock, but that is my only complaint - everything else was perfect.

THe location was perfect, the staff perfectly attentive - and all cheerful! Wonderful!! In a gale force on shore wind the sun canopy did make a bit of noise during the night, but I guess this is the price one pays for a sea view in gale season!!

Comfortable hotel. No free WiFi. Ate at the restaurant in the evening. I considered the food overpriced and the portions far too small. The live music was very old fashioned.

The staff were mainly friendly and the room was kept cleanit was a good location for sightseeing and useful for bus train or river reception staff pleasant dealing with problem and our room cleaner was very friendly and helpful The 1st night we arrived our meal was awful/ my friend and I both ordered lamb and while knowing lamb can be a bit fatty it was inedible just solid fat no one seemed to care and we were also over charged by £5 until I pointed it out we were very disapponted in small portion of vegatables. We were also suddenly changed seats abruptly for no reason and yet nobody sat there. Food verry expensive
