The location was amazing our room overlooked the river food first class easy access to Perth town centre lovely park a short walk way very enjoyable stay
We were happy nothing to dislike
Great wee Hotel. Lovely location overlooking the River Tay.Room was very nice and clean. Great breakfast, and friendly staff
Our mini suite was ideal for our short Winter stay as we spent quite a lot of the time in the hotel. Everything was very clean and fresh, the staff helpful, and food plentiful and well cooked.
Car parking/I spent ages looking for a place to park/ I had intended to dine in the hotel with a friend, but was not impressed by the menu,it was dull.old fashioned and very dated and for what it was,it was very expensive/ was it £17 for fish and chips. food is paramount in a hotel.I ordered a Sunday telegraph but I never got it.I asked for a wake up call and never got it.I was so looking forward but slept in/I asked at 10am if I was too late for breakfast/yes I was told and left hungry. In spite of everything I would come back, but only if you seriously improved your menu.things seem don't seemed properly joined up!!Douglas Lindsay.
Friendly staff. Near concert hall. View from bedroom and conservatory lovely.
Harris tweed curtains and bedside lampshade -gloomy. Small double bed which is not what we expect nowadays. Fish and chips from high tea menu - huge fish but very soggy batter I couldn't eat. A lovely piece of fish ruined.
I liked the relaxed atmosphere in the hotel and the view from our room. We stayed on Hogmanay but we're too late for the dinner. Breakfast was, however, first class.
Everything. Its not a clinical modern hotel so in parts needs a lttle tlc but what a super place to stay in Perth. Handy for a walk along the river or a stroll round the shops. Warm friendly staff. A room with a superb view.
As others have mentioned the car park is tight. Check this out before you get there and it will save you some hassle. Also the hotel could put a mirror on the entrance wall this would make it safer to get in and out.
staff very friendly nothing to much of a bother , clean comfortable rooms excellent value for money , abundance of food , afternoon tea highly recommended
Handy for Staying when attending a party night.
Night porter was rude and not very helpful in the slightest.
Bed, bathroom and room all clean and comfortable! Reception staff lovely....great location to walk into town, free parking once you find the car park!!
Breakfast offered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup which is a bit unusual - sadly it was awful....couldn't eat it! I have heard from others that the full Scottish breakfast is really good though!
Everything! Staff were so helpful and friendly,My partners daughter ordered Prosecco for our arrival ,and they must have guessed it was a special occasion and we had a gorgeous 'mini suite' at no extra charge, lovely high tea and breakfast too ,
Beds - large and very comfortable View - great view of the River Tay from our bedroom Location - right in the middle of Perth, close to shopping and attractions Staff - very helpful and keen to engage with you
Car parking. Tiny car park - easy to miss, and difficult to maneuver once you are in it.
Location was very good situated fronting the lovely River Tay with Inch Park adjacent to the riverbank where a pleasant walk can conclude in the city centre. The staff were friendly, helpful and considerate of the extra time required by my 94 year old mother to consume her meals. Food was fresh, well presented and plentiful. Altogether a most enjoyable stay.
The hotel has an easy, warm, welcoming "feel" to it. The room was large and tastefully decorated, the bed and en suite facilities comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was tasty and attractively presented. A fire was lit in the fireplace in the morning--nice!
Wi-fi was no good in the room! Please don't advertise that wi-fi works throughout the hotel if that is not the case. Better to say it works in "some" of the hotel locations: that's a more accurate description of what you are offering guests.
Great friendly efficient service, High Tea on Friday a treat Needed Breakfast at 7 on Saturday morning, No problem Full Scottish served within minutes. Quiet room, overlooking the river. Great location, loads of Restaurants within walking distance
Tight Parking, No clock in the room.
Perfect location. Great wi-fi (unusual for hotels). Great breakfast.
location was nice and central
poor parking they need better vermon control ie pidgeons which kept us awake all night for 2 nights we were in room 28 at the top of the stairs above the bar we shut the fire door but somebody opened it again.also the breakfast was sub standard ie porridge was horrible.
The old fashioned lovely comfortable chairs and sofas beside the real fire.
the location was very good and the food was very good.
the room was very disappointing , I had looked at the rooms on the website and they all looked very well finished and modern which was the main reason I booked this accommodation over other hotels in the area as I could have had a cheaper hotel but the rooms did not look so well finished ,but the room we were given was very dated and the facilitys were very disappointing in the room
Fab location, friendly staff, chilled out feel.Requested a room with river view and we got one...well done .Would definetly stay again.
Parking a bit of a lottery, seating in public areas could do with a refurbishment as you can get in to but can't get out easily due to being a few inches from the ground.Only one seat in our room, could have done with another.
Location is great though parking is limited. Staff are very friendly and I get the occasional upgrade. Meals, including breakfast, are superb. If you want to eat out, you are only a stones throw from a dozen places of excellent repute.
Parking: It's a wholly minor dislike as I'm savvy with the location, I know where I can park nearby if the hotel's parking is in use. This is by far my first port of call.
Hotel was nice looking inside and in a good location..
The shower was not the one pictured for the room I booked, it was exceptionally small and difficult to move around in..
No shower hats
The price was right for a Sunday night. The hotel had a comfortable, family-friendly feel to it. The room was superb and the breakfast was substantial and presented well. A truly "classy" place to stay!
Can't think of anything that could be improved upon.
Helpful and attentive staff and great breakfast
