went to visit our daughter who now lives in Lancaster, the hotel is situated right in the middle of the centre so easy access to the shops and attractions. The breakfast included in the price of the room was cooked fresh when we got down to the restaurant in the morning and it was beautiful. We also ate in the Tapas bar on the Saturday night and the food was cooked to absolute perfection. staff also very friendly, real family orientated hotel. looking forward to visiting again. will be making it our regular stop for when we go to lancaster
I didn't stay in the hotel I booked , I was called the day before to tell me I was being moved to another hotel, by a gent named Alan. We stayed in Crows hotel , it was central but not a hotel , it was bed and breakfast , Jill the lady working there was lovely and made a our stay more than comfortable . The guest house was okay. Very basic but cute, the wardrobe was very shakey. There was no reception service , no telephone in room , you had to come outside to go to the dining room , but breakfast was lovely , as it was cooked to order , and plenty on cold buffet ,joe the owner was very pleasant and helpful , but it's not a hotel ,
Pillows not good old. O mattress cover on bed . No telephone in room . No reception cover Could be a lot clean No lift and I was on top floor Smoking allowed not good idea
Easy reach of centre and easy to find
Friendly, central yet quiet, good food, comfortable and clean rooms
breakfast clean parking not a chain
The temperature! On a sweltering July night 2 of us (single women) were put in a tiny, suffocatingly hot twin bedded room on the top floor with no fan or other opportunity for cooling down. Neither of us slept at all, despite having to prop the door open all night (not very safe). Didn't understand why another room e.g. on a lower floor was not offered as nobody else appeared to be staying here. Also as they stopped serving tapas at about 8pm it would have been nice to have been told before we went out and returned hungry!
The position of the hotel was handy for all amenities in the area.
The cord on the sash window was broken, the window was supported by a piece of wood to keep it open. The breakfast was too greasy.
Excellant location, tapas and breakfast very good. Able to come and go as you pleased without having to go through the restaurant. Very good value for money and perfect for a short weekend break
breakfast was very good
far too noisy
The location in the centre of Lancaster was excellent -- nothing was too far away.
Don't be put off on arrival -- the building looked tired, but the rooms were fine and clean. The cooked breakfast was very good.
Friendly staff, quiet stay, clear info.
Steep stairs, especially with luggage, no window in en-suite so bit stuffy.
The friendly relaxed atmosphere and lovely tapas food
Needed earplugs for traffic
A hotel pub without the pub part. Good tapas and excellent room. Good value for money.
Good service and friendly staff.
Noise out on the street by clubbers kept me awake well past 4am! If this was the Premier Inn I'd get a refund.
value for the money paid, good breakfast
food and family like environment
night light is a little disturb
The location was the only good thing about this hotel. Lancaster is a lovely city & we very much enjoyed our visit.
The hotel was basic. The carpet in the room was badly stained & the shower was very dirty. No hairdryer. The breakfast was deep fried by the look of it.
Breakfast was ok, coffee not acceptable
- on arrival, room smelt like a pub toilet - room was very filthy - restaurant was closed after 8 pm - no room service - mold in bathroom
Friendly, low price, central location, excellent food in Tapas bar below.
Parking was a little restricted.
Location of hotel with car parking and easy walking distance for the whole town.
breakfast very good
the look off the place more like student accomadation. sirens from police station all night . and the fact that our money was taken off our cards , before we got there , which should not be allowed , don't think we will hurry back mr .mrs duckettfrom preston
Like the central location and the tappas we're good, staff very friendly
The room we stayed one of the main walls were very wet and water marked they tried to hide it but not good Also the shower black mould in plastic grouting all it needs is a scrubbing brush and mould spray
- close to the Lancaster castle - nice service (charming lady) - big rooms - nice tapas in the hotel restaurant
- rooms should be renovated
