Comfortable bed Quiet location Friendly and helpful staff
The location and the excellent staff
Nothing as far as I was concerned
Lovely view and a stroll by the water. Good local pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep. Really friendly staff.
Hotel needs an update, a but tired and frayed around the edges.
Staff very friendly!
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff . . . the delicious breakfast served by Carol!
A comfortable bar within the hotel, friendly service, nice breakfast, parking on site. Nice that we do not get the obsequious attitude as in some places who think they are the cats whiskers.
A very windy night so our sea view window caught all of hurricane Bertha remnants, it was noisy as no double glazing. The room, with 4 poster, was nice and fine but is not large, storage space for clothes was limited to a small wardrobe and the bedside draws.
From the moment you enter you recieve a warm welcome, and, this is extended by all of the friendly helpful staff. The room was exellent and, provided a view of the Mersey river as requested. There was an lovely breakfast provided ,and, also exellent bar meals.
The only possible criticism, would be the lack of lift facilities to upper floors, although help was offered to take luggage up and, down.
We use this hotel alot for staff and clients, they always say its a really nice hotel. This is why we use it all the time. Thank you
The background music in the breakfast room. No lift.
The staff were exceptionally pilot and helpful, every member of staff we came in contact with went above and beyond our expectations making it a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
The friendliness of the staff was great. You felt you could approach them about any problems, if there were any. The location is excellent. A short walk away from lovely walks and also to public transport and shops.
Easy parking and convenient location Easy to get train into Liverpool on fast and frequent service. Staff friendly and helpful.Great breakfast at own pace Good view over lake and Mersey from front bedrooms
Price seems to have risen but still reasonably good value. Will return
Staff at breakfast good Staff willingly helped with luggage to & from 2nd floor
Lack or air in bathroom,no extractor fan, windows would not open Little ventilation in bedroom, window open with difficulty & had to be propped open Service in restaurant slow No lift
Everything else was very good, especially the food in the brasserie. A 3 star hotel with 4 star service.
My room was situated at the front with a nice view but I did not like the noise of the traffic.
Location,Parking,good breakfast choice, comfy bed!
There was nothing to dislike
First rate breakfast, pleasant ambience in the bar, good service and excellent coffee which to be honest outshone Costa. I'd go back any time.
Erratic wifi but you can live without it.
The helpful night porter.
Breakfast. sausages were rather thin and over cooked, poached eggs were over cooked and the baked beans were the same. I didn't eat my breakfast. What I can't understand is why my wife's breakfast was okay when they both came out at the same time. Needs to be improved.
Friendly staff, ample breakfast.
sure i'd ticked the quiet room box when booking, hotel was very busy as a party was being held there, our room was above the kitchen with noise until midnight from air con unit.
Everything. The staff are particularly well drilled. One of the most pleasant places that i have stayed. Obviously a very prrofessionally run hotel.
Lovely traditionally styled hotel in perfect location for Crosby beach and Marina. We ate in the restaurant which had superb local fresh ingredientsand a varied menu but the lamb and beef steaks were all priced with extra supplements which was a bit of a shame.staff exceptionally friendly and attentive.we would definitely recommend this hotel to boost Crosby and surrounding address
I needed to visit various venues in Liverpool and the Royal Hotel gave me a quiet location, easy parking and a lovely situation for a walk in the evenings - gardens, lakeside, sand dunes, beach and Gormley statues all within very easy reach. The room was spacious and had a good desk to work at. I enjoyed the meals and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Service was a little slow at dinner one evening.
Comfortable room, great location for 'Another Place' and trains into Liverpool Central
