The Royal Hotel  

The staff were excellent very friendly and all worked very hard, it appeared they mucked in an did everything, they are worth their weight in gold, whatever they are paying them can not be enough. The food was also excellent.

Although it is an amazing old building it is very tired and not what you see on the tin when booking.

Pictures of the hotel on internet did look nice but the reality was so different, the hotel didnt worth the £135 one nite stay for our family at all. We were dissapointed with the web recomandition.

Myself & my Wife found the description and images to be very mis- leading. We purposely booked a premium (town & country) room and paid extra, we shudder to think what a lesser quality room is like. We do plan to visit Llandudno again, we will definately not be stopping at the Royal Hotel. On several occasions we rang the reception from our room and there was no answer. This Hotel is desperately in need of a massive up-date. The furniture in the room including the bed was extremely poor. Personally, we felt quite grubby in this accomodation, not relaxed at all hence we purposely spent as little time there as possible. Even the hair dryer which in the description says is included, is only available from reception and one is expected to pay a £5 deposit.

We had a wonderful weekend break at The Royal hotel in LLandudno. Although the hotel is in need of some refurbishment it is spotlessly clean and has all the faciltites needed.The staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a lovely valentine disco/buffet at the hotel on the Saturday evening, which was informal and very enjoyable. The food was delicious, as was breakfast the next morning. We stayed in a Town and Country suite with beatiful views, again style was very 80's, but was lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked another night as we wlsft for next month at a reduced rate!! Well done The Royal hotel, and thankyou to the lovely staff working there!

Just needs a bit of modernisation.

I booked the hotel for an overnight stop. I am familiar with Llandudno and wanted a hotel with a family room, a single room and car park. I was pleased with the size and comfort of the bedroom - I certainly slept well. My friends felt their room had been refurbished but I did not see it. The car park was of reasonable size and safe. The staff we saw were friendly and the breakfast was one of the best I had tasted for some time. Freshly cooked and well presented. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

I would have liked a hairdryer in the room. For the price I paid, this ought to be available in room

Hotel is shabby. Got locked out when we returned late at night. Breakfast is very mean.

The cleanliness, friendly staff, and location.

We felt the hotel was a little "tired", and our room didn't really compare with the brochure photos.

The Hotel staff were very hepful and made us welcome,the food was excelent we realy enjoyed the full Welsh breakfast good value for money and the waitress was very pleasant and we did not have to wait the food was hot and cooked to perfection,we would certainly stay here again.

Friendliness of staff, and their willingness to do all they could to make stay a pleasant one, they are a credit to the management. Quality of food - far exceeded my expectations. Location of hotel is ideal for the local town and local attractions.

A comfortable Victoria Hotel whose fabric is somewhat 'tired'. Would benefit from a full refurbishment.
