We received a genuine welcome when we spent one night in this lovely relaxed inn. Our twin room was warm, stylish and comfortable and the food was delicious. The whole experience felt like a real treat.
Food Staff Facilities Location
A lovely pub hotel in a superb setting. Very relaxed but all you could want and super people to deliver it. Highly recommended.
Lovely location, friendly staff and comfortable room.
Lighting to bright in restaurant.
The scenic location and the lovely room.
There is hardly any mobile signal and wifi. Whilst it may be nice to not be contactable, it is also not so good to not be able to contact friends and relatives easily.
This Inn was the highlight of our trip, we were sorry we found it at the end, however we were glad we found it. The food was the best we have had and my husband swears the lemon meringue pie was better then his mothers and that is saying something.
Duck when walking through doorways or you might bump your head :)
The bathroom floor was old grey vinyl and the bathroom in general was very sparse, needed updating.
nice to stay at but not to eat in.
meals & service poor in restaurant. meals not hot. steak unable to cut even with steak knife. slow service. go to bar to get your drinks.approx 45 min. wait for sweet menu so gave up.
How was made really welcome
Friendly, clean, great location if you are on holiday, very dog friendly, great choice of menu although I had a snack at the bar, good range of beers and a fabulous breakfast that lasted me all day. Great fun crew and a charming Inn.
The Hotel is a Gem.
The owners, Mark & Sally Bradley, are charming, attentive and efficient. The rooms are excellent and the food is excellent with locally sourced high quality ingredients. It was a great discovery in this part of the West Country
The fact they went out their way to do an early breakfast for those of is who were doing the triathlon on the Sunday .
Well managed establishment in beautiful Exmoor country. Spacious, comfortable accommodation. Excellent food, very good chef, comprehensive breakfast was outstanding.
Very little, only that our stay was restricted to four days!
The quality of the food was exceptionally good, the setting is wonderful and every one of the staff was friendly and very helpful.
Lovely location and very hospitable hosts. Excellent rooms. Local real ale.
The sirloin steak we had for dinner was on the tough side, but to balance that overall the food was very good.
