Situated in Shanklin, on the coast of the Isle of Wight, The Royson Guest House is just minutes from the sandy beach. The rail station is just a 15-minute walk away. Home-cooked food is served, with a full English breakfast provided each morning. You can relax in the lounge, as well as a bar offering a range of drinks, and there is ample space for free private parking on site. Rooms at The Royson are simply decorated with wooden furnishings. Each has its own bathroom, a TV, hairdryer, and facilities for making tea and coffee. There are footpaths to take along the cliffs, with stunning views. The Old Village part of Shanklin, with its thatched cottages and quaint shops, is a mile from the building. We were very impressed with everything about this B&B. The rooms were spotless everyday, the breakfast facilities were great, very near to beaches, cafes, and local bus & train stations. We wanted a relaxed few days away and we got exactly that thanks to our hosts hospitality. Definitely be returning.

Claire and Guy extremely welcoming. Nice, newly refurbished room, great breakfasts with good choice Breakfast only served 8.30-9.00 am but not a major issue as it made us get up and make the most of our days

The owners Guy and Clare were very friendly, made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble.The food was very good with a nice choice. Can't think of any thing at all.

Perfect for our short stay , a delicious breakfast to set you up for the day and a clean comfortable room to come back to , perfect. My room was £36 with breafast and I feel at that price it is impossible to critise it.

- the atmosphere was very friendly. All the staff members were very helpful und nice to us. - the breakfast was very good and had some good selection on cereal, fruits, drinks and hot meals too. - room was spacious and clean. - very close to the beach, just a 10 min walk away - bus stop to Newport and Sandown also nearby - a small Coop store

Very relaxed atmosphere and owners very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice, rooms were comfortable and very clean, nicely decorated and in hotel in a quiet position.

Guy and Claire Welcomed me with warmth I had not expected they were excellent hosts the room and I stayed in was bright and spotlessly clean. At this guest house I felt very at home and the full English breakfast was very wecome each day. I shall return. Brian Fisher

Clare and Guy were very friendly and approachable Poor shower - more of a drizzle than a shower. Could do with a non-slip mat in the shower as was very slippery. And better quality toilet paper would be an improvement.

Love this part of the Isle of Wight and in particular enjoy walking and seeing the Views, which was helped as the Weather was kind-seem to be lucky with the Weather when we visit. A very friendly and Welcoming Family made our stay more enjoyable, Thank you! Not got anything bad to say!
