All of it was perfect
Very friendly staff, nice, clean room with great view, good location and great breakfast.
Claire & Guy were lovely, super friendly 'n very helpful 'n accommodating. We wanted breakfast earlier than they normally served as we wanted to leave early the next day as we were off to Bestival for our honeymoon 'n that was no problem for them at all. Our room was lovely, fresh 'n clean 'n if we ever go back to Shanklin, we will be booking up at the Royson!
Friendly Staff and Great Service
The owners were warm, friendly and very accommodating! We had a very comfortable stay with a tasty selection of breakfast food to start each day. Our room was very clean and well kept and perfect for a small family. Would recommend!
Sadly no sea view but The Royson was still within easy reach of the seafront.
Made to feel as if we'd known the owners all our lives. Very friendly establishment and highly recommended.
Walls are a bit thin.
An excellent base to explore the Isle of Wight with all of the home comforts to return to after a busy day. Claire and Guy made us feel very welcome indeed and provided a range of incredibly tasty breakfasts every morning.
It was a very nice place to stay on a quiet road and yards from the ocean. A very warm welcome and breakfast was lovely.
Maybe breakfast could have some different cereal options and more juice variety but a very pleasant stat
Good breakfast with wide choice and welcoming hosts. Pleasant cliff walk close to the hotel.
Nice staff & good service. Lovely breakfast & cleanness.
The Royson is accessible to most places. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was good, we enjoyed our stay.
Bedrooms well decorated and confortable. Very clean. Really attentive and helpful landlords. Variety in the breakfast.
The house is in the outskirts
the location is good. It is about 7 minutes from the No.3 bus station and is about 5 minutes to the nearby seaside by walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious.
you have to wait for the Wi-Fi connection after you settle in the room, it will take you some time, but it dosen't matter.
Te owners were great. Room service was excellent. Breakfast was more than enough. Very good environment and quiet and one can view the beauty of the beach from a short walking distance.
I struggled to connect my laptop with the wifi but iPad got the connection so can't complain.
everything was good
This was the first time we had stayed but the hosts were very welcoming and efficient. The room, although fairly small, was clean and comfortable with a lovely sea view. As the rooms were all close together some noise did carry but the breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our stay there.
Noise from adjoining rooms. Decor in the common areas a bit dated.
The owners, Claire and Guy, are very friendly and helpful. They went to get Duck eggs especially for my girlfriend who has chicken egg allergy.
The staff were really warm ,genuine and friendly..generally a good base in the isle of Wight
the excellent service.
the only very small complaint is that the wardrobe had no door, not a major problem.
Really friendly and welcoming hosts. Great location, only a short walk to the town centre and lovely views out of the top front room. Would definitely come back here, and recommend it to others.
