Comfy beds and lovely Kir Royale
Maid knocked on door at 8:30am to ask when we were "intending" to check out - not customer friendly!!!
When we walked in the room there was two big cookies left for us very nicely wrapped as it was our 10th visit, the staff are always there to assist us with any request we have.
The room was abit small but it was soon sorted by offering us another room
Spar and swimming pool was excellent
Location. Ambience. Most helpful staff. Comfort. The Lock.
Can't think of anything ....
check in was very efficient and the staff everywhere very helpful
THe road to the town centre is very dangerous to cross by foot and needs pedestrian lights
Location, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Food luke warm but good selection.
Spacious room. Great location. Good food.
Booked a table in restaurant when checking in. When we got to the restaurant they had no record of the booking.
The Cleanliness, location, breakfast, staff friendliness was first class - Would not hestitate to stay again
Probably a tad expensive
The staff were generally very helpful and friendly, though occasionally had to be reminded to bring tea/coffee and orange juice at breakfast. The linen and towels were excellent and changed every day. The room was kept very clean, though carpet stains should be removed. Despite some quibbles, we would be happy to stay in the hotel again and would recommend it.
The bed was quite narrow and the room was rather cramped. We pointed out that both our soup bowls in the lounge were chipped - a health hazard. We were asked to show where but no replacements were offered and we had no confidence that the bowls would be thrown away. The seal round the bath was black - that should be replaced. There were no small bottles of complimentary water in the room - something which is usual practice in similar hotels.
Good parking , helpful staff , charming and convenient location . Excellent breakfast .
Cramped wardrobe and badly placed loo roll container in the bathroom .
staff helpful, I changed my itinerary around a few times and they were very accommodating with my request.
Not along the lines of the normal chain! Pool excellent.
Gym a bit small.
We stayed here as it was very close to family and a trip down memory lane. I stayed in staines for three months when I was very young and my parents decided to retire there from Canada after leaving uk. What a beautiful place to return to and re unite with family. I will be back and highly recommend your hotel GreAt service food location Thank you so very much
Everything lovely rooms restaurant bar and tea service
The pool and gym were great and staff there were very helpful and welcoming. Views across the Thames were lovely and nice river walk from the hotel.
The doubles are small. Reception area very noisy on check in.
Too noisy, thin walls. New waiter not sure what he was doing.
Great location, good food and cheery staff. Our double room was very small, but returning in it was tip top.
Great pool and jacuzzi
No hot breakfast before 8. Heard the staff talking on a walkie talkie which woke me up :(
Ideal position good meals pleastant staff
Attractive site, friendly staff, good choice of restaurants.
Expensive considering we didn't have time to enjoy the spa facilities etc. Perhaps these could have been paid for separately.
Bedroom overlooking the river, a small room but everything you need and VERY comfortable bed. Location.
Main bar very busy, after having a walk we could not sit in the bar as afternoon teas being served, fine sat outside overlooking the river (pleasant) but service then let it down as it was difficult to get served. Breakfast restaurant too small with the amount of guests we were lucky to go when we id as there was a long queue! My husband would not have waited that long!
Spent one night in August with my husband & 2 teenage boys. Our boys loved the gym & pool & I enjoyed the spa. Lovely food - Great buffet dinner & breakfast. Lovely location though our lake view rooms didn't have a great view. But overall a lovely place
Our lake view room didn't have much of a view of the lake
Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb food in all restaurants. Excellent leisure facilities. Will be going back for sure!!
