Staff were helpful and very polite. Excellent location. Breakfast was amazing.
Great Spa and Gym facilities
Ate in the Buffet Restaurant at 21h00s and main course dishes were not up to standard. Bad soundproof as when we went to bed, we heard guests speaking in the corridor
Brilliantly managed, friendly staff.
We both felt ill after eating there and there was a strong smell of bo as we entered our room
Friendly, helpful staff Great riverside/lock location Spacious room (room 176) Balcony Great bed Breakfast buffet fantastic Bed, super comfy Free Wifi
Poor reception staff who were totally unhelpful and uninterested in residents. They are only interested in corporate clients and visitors paying for afternoon tea etc. This resulted in not being able to access our room until half an hour after initial check in and bear in mind this was 2pm on a sunday afternoon.
The setting is absolutely beautiful next to the Thames. The lobby is cozy. The reception staff are very polite and professional. We were able to check in early
Service is a little on the slow side with regards to ordering drinks and food in the lounge. Ceiling had to be vacuumed because of cobwebs and about 4 spiders that appeared in the evening.
Spa and extras like the gingerbread men and duck
Good location, in the country yet close to Heathrow.
Unable to connect to the guest Wi-Fi, and eventually reception had to put me onto a different network. Very frustrating . . .
Very friendly staff. The pools and the river. Very clean.
I would have preferred two beds as I was with my daughter. More flexibity on the prices of the buffet as if one has a small appetite it is expensive.
State of Thames path (not hotels responsibility, but they should take an interest)
great location helpful staff great spar
Location excellent and the food was fabulous, the staff were very nice especially Gary in the restaurant who was exceptionally helpful and friendly! Clare on reception tried to accommodate us to a twin bedded room, river side which was appreciated but they are very expensive! Neverless enjoyable night stay!
The standard room we was in was extremely small, and unless your a couple you have to share a double bed which is not exceptionally big. We had to upgrade to obtain two singles. Should have some twin beds in a standard room.
The hotel setting overlooking the Thames was beautiful and the proximity to Heathrow was perfect for our family. The staff were highly attentive and ensured that our needs were promptly met. The spa facilities and hotel amenities were excellent. Meals at both restaurants and breakfast room service were absolutely fantastic. The evening buffet spread was just gorgeous. The special attention paid to children was highly appreciated.
The lack of air conditioning in the main hotel lobby and restaurants was challenging on the day we visited. Additionally, the air conditioning in one of our family's rooms was insufficient and made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. I would definitely stay there again.
Amazing breakfast and a amazing spa, lovely stay!
Can't fault anything
The location was excellent as was the car parking. The outside restaurant terrace was a really nice place to spend some time and the service was good. Check in was quick and efficient.
Please avoid room 261 as it is one of the worst located rooms I have ever stayed in. It is immediately outside the air con plant and has a terrible outlook. The noise from the air con plant WILL prevent you sleeping and the room is also very small and stuffy (the noise prevents you opening a window) When I complained the next day the reception staff were sympathetic and offered to reduce my food bill. I really think that this room should not be made available to guests without warning them first.
The ambience and location made it a very relaxing couple of days and I will not hesitate to book again for longer so I can try out the spa! Really enjoyed The Lock Bar and Kitchen restaurant.
Location, river view, facilities.
Rooms, even our deluxe double, a bit small; our son & family found their room quite restrictive once a cot had been added. Plus their air on was broken on one of the hottest nights, not good with a baby.
The location could not be bettered neither could the facilities. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The buffet was first class with very good service.
The cost of breakfast £18 is over the top. The outdoor swimming pool not opening until 1pm. It would have been nice to have sat outside on a warm sunny morning and having a dip in the superb swimming pool.
Great location by the Thames
Wasn't there long enough!!!!
Great place, very friendly staff, fantastic breakfast selection, well-maintained and spacious spa.
Location is a little too close to the M25 for comfort if you're looking for a peaceful break. Double room with river view and bathroom were on the compact side.
Eating breakfast in dappled sunlight on the terrace overlooking the river Thames with unlimited choices of well proffered foods.
Having to really search for the air conditioning control - it was so small and not in an obvious place
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - they were friendly, efficient and extremely helpful especially those involved with the charity ball. I loved the toiletries which I felt were superior to most hotel toiletries. I liked my bed being turned down and the curtains drawn. Mug and flannel were also replaced - nice touch..
The bathroom floor was not cleaned right into the corners and there appeared to be a build up of dirt. There was no bible in my room. I thought the easy chair looked rather tired.
great location, very well appointend, excellent food and very pleasent staff
Gin and tonics on the terrace
