In my opinion there is no such a thing.
The view was great and any thing in that house has a really original taste.

The facilities could have been better and again like most B & Bs the heating goes off during late night, some people would be fine with this but I prefer hearing to be controlled in the room. The building isn't directly facing sea but depending on the room you get you could get a view of the sea and breakwater.
I liked the location because it's only 5 minutes walk from hoe and 15 minutes walk from harbour. Host was very friendly.

Marvellous to stay in so friendly and relaxing atmosphere within walking distance of the delightfully scenic and historic Hoe.

Tiny shower, tiny hand basin, hardly room to sit on loo. Street parking limited, but workable, free and safe.
Seafront location. Everything else except tiny ensuite.

+ helpful landlady (late arrival) + nice decor + lovely breakfast room + atmosphere created by landlady
26 September 2014
there was no discount for not having breakfast. breakfast is served from 8am at the weekend and we were leaving for the ferry at 6:40am - we didn't want breakfast at this time but it would have been nice to have been offered a small discount since we paid B&B and we didn't arrive till the evening so less than a 12 hour stay with no food for £230 (3 rooms). The bathroom was a little grubby, nice toilet roll and tea/coffee should be standard considering the price.
we had a lovely welcome from the charming lady owner, the rooms were big and tidy - the family room worked well with a toddler. good location

The landlady Jan was the best nothing was to much trouble for her. Breakfast was excellent, room was comfy and clean.
16 September 2014
The "bathroom" was tiny, more like a cupboard! It was virtually impossible to sit on the loo and have the door closed. £85 too much in my opinion.
Location- walking distance of the Barbican Good breakfast

Went to visit Plymouth for the Firework competition. Guest House in great location for this.
3 September 2014
We stayed for two nights with our two young children, our room had a small single attached which our son loved, having his own room but feeling as if he were in the same room as mummy and daddy. The owner was lovely, very keen to ensure we were comfortable. Parking was easy and just by the beach. Morning stroll was great.

Very narrow doorway into bathroom with two 'cupboard doors' on, so if the room is used by a couple you have to really know and like each other!
Breakfast was great and the owner was incredibly friendly and kind.
