Everything especially the cooked breakfast , marvellous hospitality would highly recommend .
The hosts were very welcoming, the b&b was absolutely gorgeous and so pristine clean and inviting. Our room was comfortable and we slept really well. Plus very close to the beach which was great for my morning run, came back to delicious breakfast! Excellent.

Nothing to dislike
This was my family's first time at this B&B although we come to the Isle of Wight and Shanklin, Bonchurch, and Ventnor every summer. We weren't able to stay one extra night at our usual place so we booked in here. We are sooo glad we did! It was spotlessly clean and very, very comfortable. We had the family room with bunk beds for the kids in a separate area of our room which we could close the door on for adult time and privacy. Lovely decor - nice modern but with Victorian features home - comfy bed and bath linens. Extra thick bath towels. Lovely filtered coffee and biscuits in the room. The hosts are very personable and friendly and willing to help with any ideas or suggestions (they advised us to watch the parade that night fromn our room windows to keep the kids cozy and warm indoors - great idea) and the breakfasts are fresh wholesome foods and very tasty! Really liked the request to put the order in the night before so it was ready the next morning when we appeared in the dining room. Lots of nice extra touches here.
Compared to some of the other accommodation nearby it was a little on the pricey side by about £20 - £30 a night. Also, having to park in the train station car park - although a quick 2 minute walk away - would have preferred to park on site. It was also noisy all night long with the window open (summertime) with a room facing the road as the bus stop was out front of the B&B. Could hear buses coming and going and people chattering on the pavement most of the night. These are minor things however, which wouldn't deter us from considering staying here again.
This is an excellent all round B & B.
Very good and friendly hosts who worked hard to make sure we were comfortable. Clean bright room with facilities to make hot drinks. Biscuits provided. Excellent breakfast cooked to order and plenty of choice.
Nothing to dislike
I liked all of it. Very clean, comfy good bed and nice room. Breakfast really good asked for decaf tea for breakfast and straight away these were put in my room without asking. Thanks very much I really enjoy my stay
There was nothing I disliked
Family room was very well decorated and designed, with a good sized master bedroom and a separate area for children to sleep. Very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety of options.
We were received well by the hosts. We had a good room (nr 1). The breakfast was very good with much choice. Parking is easy around the corner at the train station (50 meters); the host will provide you with a free voucher. The bus stop is just in front of the B&B.
The B&B is just fine. It is a short distance walking to restaurants: ask the host in order not to go the wrong direction.
Cheap with the breakfast
Location is good, close to the town centre, the beach and rail station. Staff are very friendly.
My room is facing to the main road which was quite nosiey during the night, maybe it's because of Sat night.
Very good service, delicious breakfast and high standard of the rooms! Over expectation!
Breakfast (VERY GOOD)
The room was spacious and very clean, would stay there again
A beautifully presented, immaculate guest house.Room was very well equipped with the added bonus of a very comfy bed! Breakfast was amazing offering choices usually found only in 4* plus hotels. All this and a friendly personal service.
Having to Leave
Good service, perfect location (basically one minute walk from the train station), clean room with fair choices of breakfast.
Wifi was a bit slow but I think that's the general problem in Shanklin
My mother and I love the room very much. Our room is small but neat, clean and beautifully decorated. When we left the hotel very early in the morning, the nice couple invited us to enjoy the fruit and toast, and even prepared bacon sandwichs for us to take away. So thoughtful! We are really grateful.
The Guest House was close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants and the room was kept very clean and was in good decorative order. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
The guest house was on a rather noisy road with a bus stop right outside the house. The front bedrooms unfortunately have to suffer not only the noise of the traffic, but also the noise from the busses pulling up and pulling away up until approximately 12 midnight.
