Cheap bed for the night.
Staff ok. Stay spoilt by inconsiderate, noisy and rude fellow residents.
Clean. friendly staff. Very helpful. Good pint and food
The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. The patrons as well. Great price and location. Already looking to book another visit.
Only down side was there was no breakfast. Had to leave to get breakfast.
Handy for the bus stop.
They said we could borrow an iron, but could not take it to our room. Was expected to do our ironing in the busy pub below.
The bedroom was clean, not overly spacious but adequate.
Wednesday night is apparently quiz night. It went on until about half 11 and could clearly be heard in the bedroom.
The room is very nice
The property does not open in the morning so it is impossible to arrive early to drop luggage.
Only a couple of miles out of the city center. Easy access by both bus & taxis. Double room was clean & had en suite with shower.
They didn't serve breakfast, unfortunately which was a big down side for us.
Price was fair for low quality received
Toilet cleaner smelt so strong it made the room very uncomfortable in the room. Not a very clean bathroom. Small room and no breakfast served !
No breakfast facility
the staff was very friendly, and the room is clean and spacious. we did have good sleep during the stay.
the location is not close to the city center. but the bus station is near to the hotel.
Ease of location and link to major road out of york
Small entrance and signage to car park price did not include breakfast so was expensive just for a room and extra travelling to find a cafe.
There's a pub down stairs! But the rooms were still q quiet so you couldn't here anything!
A bigger bathroom and more spacious rooms.
Staff were lovely, room was really comfortable and plenty of parking.
friendly helpful staff, good location with a good bus service into the city centre. The room was very clean and comfortable with tea & coffee making facility in the room. There was a small independant restaurant adjoing and serving the Inn which was excellant.Would stay there again.
There was no breakfast included. The restaurant did not open until lunchtime so wasnt able to get a breakfast there. The shower bracket that holds the shower head was broken so was difficult to shower. Doors banging in the corridor from other guests.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was close to York centre just a few pound in a taxi. Breakfast was fantastic that was especially put on for the lads at only a small fee. Generally a great place to stay and above a pub makes it even better.
Upon arrival we were met with excellent staff who quickly sorted our rooms. Good beds, good beer and not too far from City centre.
No wifi in room Loud road noise Check in at the bar Another guest tried to check in @2.45 but no one available even though she had a booking. Booking.com site states 2pm to 21 pm check in.
shared bathroom and miserable staff.
May, the owner
(A) Opening times (B) Location is not as per Booking.com (C) Room was close to the main road, making sleep very difficult
Nice pub On a bus route
Bed was comfy Free tea/biscuits Good TV channels Ensuite facilities
Distance from centre Couldn't check in till 2 Closed quite early Shower went from hot to cold Bathroom door got wedged
Staff were brilliant, food options for dinner were great. Love the italian chef!! Good location with good transport links into the city centre if you didn't want to drive.
No breakfast facilities, 1 shared bathroom (and toilet) for several rooms meant waiting your turn of a morning.
Room was fine
Nobody there when we arrived. Had to wait almost an hour. Never met landlady despite trying. Food shown online was not available.
Situated just outside York, gives you the option of having a quiet break or getting up early and exploring.
It could be a bit to from York if you don't like walking
Private entrance so you did not have to go through the pub every time you wanted to go to your room.
It was quite warm when we were in York and the rooms did not have air conditioning so we had to leave the windows open. All but one of the rooms in the Inn faced a main road so it was noicy and difficult to get to sleep. In the morning there were no staff so when you left you just put your key in the door and walked away.
