The Salisbury Hotel

ホテルスタッフはとても親切でした。フロントで紹介されたレストランはリーズナブルで、料理・ワインともお- いしかったです。到着時の駅からの道順を電話で問い合わせると、バスやタクシーの情報をすぐにメールで返信- してくれました。とても働き者で親切なスタッフたちです。

2部屋予約したうちの、ファミリールームが半地下に位置していたこと、もう1部屋のダブルの部屋にはバスタ- ブがついていなかったことが残念でした。フロントから見て左側の部屋と右側の部屋で室が異なるようでした。- 私たちは右側でしたが、左側の部屋がとれていればもっと満足度が高かったのかと。予約の際の印象からすると- 、泊まってみて少しがっかりです。

部屋が広く子連れには快適。ホテルのスタッフは親切に街の情報を教えてくれました。朝食もおいしかったです- 。

バスタブのお湯の蛇口が壊れていたためシャワーしか使用することができなかったのが残念。

The first room we stayed in was a bit small, especially the showerroom, even though very comfortable. The bathroom was loud and the flush didn't really work. The rooms are well equipped : ipod station, good tv screen, comfortable bed. The second room we stayed in was nice, bigger, with a very nice showerroom. Breakfast in the hotel is delicious, big range of choice, friendly staff.

The first room we stayed in (Montague) : the showerroom was too small and had not a proper door. The flush was not working properly.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful, the room was fantastic. Would recommend to friends and family.

Receptionist was always helpful. Breakfast was served promptly and was hot. Room was very comfortable and quiet. As the bistro was closed for renovation the receptionist provided some excellent advice re local eateries.

Comfort, location, service

Extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating hotel staff. Comfortable, clean and stylish bedroom. Good location and great price. Overall an excellent hotel and stay!

Breakfast (although included in our price) was not very well cooked and was not how described on menu. 'Do not disturb' function on door did not work. Radiator was temperamental but we were quickly supplied with heater. But overall the hotel was excellent!

Stayed here Mid November and will be back again. Our 1st visit to Edinburgh was most enjoyable and the vital ingredient to that and any stay anywhere is a good base and a good nights sleep, both of these things you will get at The Salisbury Hotel. Breakfasts were excellent and well stocked, whether full cooked or continental choices. Rooms amazing and spacious, staff excellent and very helpful. Location is about a 20mins brisk walk into the City but bus services are the best I have ever seen, £3.00 per day per adult for as much travel within the City as you can make. 100% all the way.

Quiet street despite being in student area, near good shopping, nice room with desinged bathroom, good, hearty breakfast from the ala carte menu. Pleasant and helpful personnel.

Would have preferred buffe with warm and cold food to be able to combine favorites. Bedside lamps not good for reading in bed. Half-wall in shower caused water to splash out onte bathroom floor, poor shower nozzle, mold in shower. One side of the dubble bed sagged somewhat. No hooks in either bathroom or in room entry for coats.

A very good small hotel, good cooked breakfast included, really comfortble queen bed in a good sized room. 5 minute bus or taxi ride from city centre. Really good hotel overall.

Friendly and efficient reception staff. Breakfast menu was varied and service was good. Room overlooking the garden was very quiet. Public transport to city centre was really convenient to the hotel and great value for money. Loads of local amenities, particularly The Reverie cafe/bar. Good food and music. Highly recommended.

Unfortunate that the restaurant was not open other than for breakfast.

Location was a 20 minute walk from city centre. Loads of amenities nearby.Good size room which was clean.

Retaurant was closed and we were not notified in advance. There was no lounge and the breakfast room was like a school canteen (in rows).
