Score from 9 reviews Very good
The room was VERY tired and dirty, wallpaper coming away from the wall, mould in the bathroo and the shower head was disgusting, the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've every tried to sleep in, we were not made to feel welcome when we arrived more like an inconvenience
Couldn't find anything to really like.
I got the impression when viewing the property that parking was available on the premisis. Had topark on the street. Noisy due to traffic on main road. Bathroom facilities were very poor. Tiny sink with glass shelf over top made it very difficult to use the sink. Shower was in the middle of the bathroom and when using the shower everything in the bathroom got wet down to the toilet paper.
The bedroom at the top is excellent, very spacious and well fitted out for a holiday. Bathroom very good and plenty of hot water! Good variety of breakfasts available - bacon is delicious. Friendly and efficient hosts. Have recommended it already.
Everything apart from that mentioned below.
Awkward to get to electric sockets larger people would struggle with the stairs and the wet room attached to our room.
Room was lovely, clean and couldn't fault it. Breakfast delicious and good quality food.
Nothing to dislike.
The location; decor;breakfast and all the little extras ,which made this guest house unique, comfortable and homely
not having a hand held shower
Very friendly and provided vegetarian breakfast which was great. Would definitely go back.
location, sea view, price, parking, breakfast and staff
bit tight accessing shower
Clean, comfortable, lovely breakfast, very helpful owners, couldn't ask for more.
Such a lovey little b & b right on the sea front, very pretty family room with sea view and amazing bathroom! Very friendly, would definitely stay again
Room was very comfortable and spacious with lovely bathroom and view of the sea. The town is within easy walking distance.
The staff were very friendly and made it feel like home from home. Decor delightful; Laura ashly and blue china heaven ! The seafront was just across the road and the pier and marina a matter of a few minutes level walk away. The bathroom was huge with a very modern good size shower cubicle and freestanding bath tub. The bed linen and towels were all very white and of a good quality and also decorative The building is traditional victorian villa with original stairs and walls intact. I would have liked to known beforhand that we were at the top of the house, where the see views were truly superb. Otherwise, a great stay. Thankyou Sue and Tony.
The room was great breakfast was excellent their help in points of interest and the best place for dinner at night.
Great Suffolk breakfasts, well furnished room, sea view.
Room was lovely and comfortable, food excellent - would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Our accomodation on the top floor was well decorated clean and very comfortable. The bath room was huge with marvelous tub.
The room I was given as a solo traveller exceeded my expectations. It was beautifully furnished, stylish and exceptionally well equipped - thoughtfully equipped hospitality tray and exceptional range of toiletries etc. The bathroom was positively opulent! I was there for one night only, so my comments about the staff (only encountered the proprietors who were friendly and welcoming) and the location are more to do with the brevity of my stay rather that any perceived imperfections.
If I'm being really picky, the breakfast was slightly overcooked, although the ingredients were obviously high quality. The option of fresh milk on the hospitality tray would have been nice, although I'm sure it would have been provided if I had asked.
Location, welcome, breakfast, cleanliness, attention to detail.
great hosts, excellent breakfast
The staff were very helpfull and very nice people. We would say this is the best B&B we have stayed in.
A lot of thought had gone into the colour co-ordination of each bedroom which made them really attractive and comfortable to be in. The dining room was exceptional as was the food they served in it. During my short stay I was made to feel really welcome and I would certainly return there. The location was first class being a short walk to all the amenities.
Lovely room, peaceful, hosts very attentive, excellent breakfast, WI-FI connection really good which is important as a business traveller.
A wonderful B&B at central location next to sea. We had a seaview from our cozy hotel room and shower room with very well working shower (good pressure). Breakfast was comprehensive and delicious and very friendly host couple made us feel very welcome. If we ever visit Lowestoft again, i know where to book a room without a doubt!
It had a lovely atmosphere and was quaint with a lovely sea view.
