* Friendly Staff * Comfortable beds * Very Clean * Excellent Rooms * Great Location * Would Recommend to anyone
Absolute brilliant week we had. We stayed 6 nights at this hotel, by far the best hotel I've staye in uo blackpool as been many occasions. Owners do not bother you unless you need them. Was very quiet and peaceful and most of all very relaxing. Our room was spot on! I would advise anybody to choose the superior double bedroom ( American themed ) would defo go back.
The bed was comfy and was in a central location
There was no alcohol bring served as one of the owners told me it wasn't licenced but it the hotel website it states that it is... It was also quite ditry and there was no option available for food and never saw ownets the whole weekend and towels were not changed or the bin.. We checked out a day early!!
Staff Room was clean Got some good information of were to go and what was on
Me and my girlfriend decided last minute we wanted to stay in Blackpool and the Sandgate Couples Hotel caught our eye. With an excellent price for two nights, we just had to book in. We got there to be welcomed by Sally, who welcomed us, and told us where to park. We got shown straight to our room, it was a perfect size, comfortable and well equipped. The en suite was clean and made the stay much easier than sharing a bathroom. The location of this hotel is perfect with a few minute walk to the Pier, Pleasure Beach and the Tower. We couldn't have been in a better place and it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be coming again. :)
Good friendly welcome very comfortable room nice and quiet.
room was a bit small but was ok for two night would go back again joanne was very helpful thank you for a lovely stay
Thanks for a lovely stay :)
The Bathroom was a little small
The location was excellent just off the sea front. Excellent welcome on arrival and the owner couldnt do enough for us. Our extra requests were meet perfectly. Would definately stay here again, ideal for a few nights break
Joanne was a pleasure to meet and helped with taxis food and places to visit
The host was welcoming. She had text us prior to arriving and helped when we needed a taxi number. The bed was comfortable.
We were not offered any breakfast and was told where the cafe was. I would have preferred the option of paying for breakfast with them but was not given an option. Also the room itself although, it was comfortable it did lack facilities. I got the room as a superior room half price at £60. I certainly would not have paid full price. I expected the room to be superior it certainly was not. The towel near the sink in the room was dirty with old make up. Also the bedding was stained on the duvet cover which was very noticeable as it was white. I would never pay full price for this room and would not say it was superior.
Room was dirty, and small, could lay in bed and wash my feet at the same time that's how much space the was from the bed to the bathroom, paid for the so called fancy room but wasn't issued the fancy room unless the pics was wrong on the web site and no point complaining as we only was showed to our room and never see the owners all weekend
split toilet / shower and sink
The bed was the best bit, very comfy and enough room for me and my other half, good tv at night lots to choose from, wasn't far from all the attractions and good for the price.
The room was dated and small not much room to move around in but I expected that for the price. The floors are squeaky. Would of been nice if the rooms got cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding.
Completely hassle free stay. A kind and considerate attitude displayed by both Joanne and Sally made this long weekend very enjoyable.
What a lot of stairs for bungalow dwellers!
From the moment I arrived and was met by Joanne , I knew my stay would be a good one. Arriving during the September weekend - my usual business testing place wound be The Hilton but I am so glad I stayed here - very comfortable, clean, every facility I needed and 15 minutes walk from the centre where my business lay for the day to come. My bed was supremely confrtable and as is my main comparison in any hotel - a brilliant shower! All in, a great find, great owners in Sally & Joanne and a big X Factor Yes from me!
Location, very close to seafront Bed, very comfortable Hosts, very welcoming
Location was ok for us
Hole in bathroom door covered by carpet squares Shower was a health hazard one second scolding next freezing no in between Boutique the place isn't run down grubby should be put on your advert because trading standards and health and safety would be rather interested
Position of hotel, lively room and welcoming owners :)
When we arrived we were greeted by the hotel manager that let us check in early without a fee which was kind of them. We were shown up to our room which is exactly what we needed, a bed and a bathroom and nothing else more. Internet was good, bed was nice, cant complain about the room size because it was what we paid for.
On the first night we were told nothing about not using the plug socket behind the chest of draws and half way through blow-drying my hair the power went out. We phoned and texted the hotel manager to receive a rude and abrupt message saying ''ill sort it when i'm back''. This was fine as I carried on getting ready in a pitch black room, things happen and this, I guess, wasn't their fault. It was later when we arrived back 4 hours later and we still had not electricity that we phoned about 10 times with no answer. When the hotel manager finally answered via text she told us she was ''on my way back, its the first time we have been out for a week'' so my partner and I waited outside the hotel thinking they would be no more than about 10 - 15 minutes. 40 minutes later they showed up, one of the couple completely unaware that we had a problem with the room or that we had been phoning repeatably. I'm a very understanding person and a phone call saying ''I'm very sorry, will be back in an hour to sort out your room'' would have solved this whole problem. We had to ask for clean towels each day which I think should be a given staying at a hotel and when asked each task was an effort and was not done with a smile or even a hint of good customer service. We were also not greeted on our departure. There was a note saying, leave keys here, which I don't think is very professional. When we phoned to ask if we could leave our bags till 4.30pm, which had no mention about a charge when reading through the information provided on the back of the door, I was rudely told that I would be charged because it would cause them a problem to get someone to come and open the hotel for them at which point I couldn't be bothered to argue and we left. Would not go back and would not recommend based on how we were spoken to and how we were treated throughout our whole trip.
