Owner very friendly Breakfast very nice ! Room clean and comfortable
Couldn't get radiator in bathroom to work!
The owners were very pleasant and helpful The way they had taken great care to blend modern facilities and keep the Edwardian style of the house
Kept bumping my head oin a low beam - slow to learn Lol
Big room, reasonable parking
Victorian Theme added nothing
excellant location brilliant staff very good value for money
Evening meals - Edwardian themed, and superb quality food.
Choosing breakfast the night before
Staff are quite friendly and welcoming. Cozy bar to sit in before dinner. Food quite good.
Room has no resemblance to those on the website, room 4 is old, has an aroma, and really cold, radiator in bathroom does not work! Carpets old and need a clean, as does the furniture.
the theme of Edwardian, being greeted by a lady in a Edwardian black dress and white mop cap was a nice touch. the room was good value for money and breakfast was great
mattress in room was not that comfortable
Beautiful garden, lovely room (no. 7) cracking breakfast, friendly staff
No wi-fi. That's all!
The hotel is full of character with friendly welcoming staff. Our room was lovely. Very good evening meal in restaurant. Full English breakfast looked excellent, cereal and toast adequate
Had requested twin beds and we were given a family room at the rear of the hotel which was lovely and quiet. However the mattresses on the two twin beds were appalling with lumpy springs and no padding. Had to use the double bed which was absolutely fine but not what we'd wanted. My other gripes - only instant coffee being served and no Marmite!
Very welcoming arrival. General feeling is homely and warm. The breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and attentive. We were able to swap to a larger room without any trouble. The room was pleasant and decor was coordinated and in keeping with the Edwardian theme
The salt and pepper pots were poor. Lot of shaking several of them for no benefit!!! There was quite a surly young lady around and about, who I think was a member of staff or a staff family member. Sadly she let down the rest of the team, a little, as they were all professional and attentive.
The location to town. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay and would recommend the Sandhurst to others
Stayed for bed and breakfast for one night. Rooms very clean and spacious. Owners friendly and accommodating. loved the Edwardian theme. Would go back
The hotel was in a convenient location for the purposes of our visit. Parking facilities were good and the Hotel offered good access to main routes in the area. The interior décor of the building was very tastefully done appropriate to the Edwardian style of the house.
Décor, Room size, Outlook, Breakfast.
Bedside light had no switch on light body or cord.
Made to feel very welcome, very friendly. Room was very nice and spacious. Breakfast was excellent.
Room and all the theme.
Traffic noise and poor quality food.
The A la carte menu is excellent.
Great as usual. Staff very helpful and would go back again.
Staff were friendly on arrival and payment method was gd thank you
Heating wasn't on so room felt a bit cold
We liked the young girl who served us breakfast; bubbly and chatty, which is what you want when on holiday. Breakfast was good, but would have liked a bigger teapot! Shower in room was great - certainly woke you up! Decor in accordance with Edwardian theme - including the scary pictures.
Edwardian mattress - please renew! Small teapots! Alarming noise from toilet!
Lovely old house with lots of features. Very homely and the staff were great - nothing was too much for them.
Mattress was too soft - but that's a personal preference rather than a negative.
Spacious room. Next to A54 so good location. Owners happy to try and rectify small problems. Quite unlike a chain.
Next to A54 so unavoidable traffic noise at front of hotel.
Lovely quirky hotel. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. I would thoroughly recommend!
Liked the Edwardian theme
