Very friendly and informative staff. Beautifuland spacious double room with seaview with a very comfortable bed! Nice vegetarian breakfast with all kind of herbal teas available. Would recommend this B&B to everyone!
There is nothing negative to say about our stay. Warm, cozy, homely and looked after from the start. Would recommend for anyone.
My family has along history in Rostrevor and my grandfather is buried in Knotty Ash cemetery. I even had a drink to his memory with his old publican who apparently still sails his boat at the tender age of 88 and opens his pub to 'friends'
A really enjoyable stay. Lovely people and delightfully presented breakfast. Good scenery all round and plenty of walking. Many other places along the coast to visit especially Kilbroney park and the splendid Narnia area.
View from the property. Breakfast.
Distance from recommended restuarant.
Couldn't complain about anything at this wonderful B&B. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean, bright and modern with a great view. The location is stunning, with a view of both the sea and the mountains from the bedroom window. And for breakfast the owners were very flexible and provided us with tasty fresh food. A real gem!
Close to Rostrevor mountain bike centre. Very helpful owners - provided bike lock up at short notice. Lovely breakfast
We loved everything! The town is very charming and we cannot wait to come back. The b&b is family owned, and it was delightful interacting with the owners. The breakfast was delicious. There is a beautiful view outside of the double room, with twin doors facing out towards the Mourne Mts.
Our stay being so short :-(
Excellent location, spectacular view. Lovely decor. Fantastic hosts. Warm welcome and atmosphere. Great breakfast with family music in the background. Our stay there, couldn´t have been better. Perfect!
Excellent rooms, staff, deco, view, breakfast.
A very cozy, clean, comfortable, warm place with an amazing view & very friendly staff. Triple AAA for sure!!!
Everything, could not fault the comfort, friendliness and location.
Warm welcome, we felt looked after as vegan/vegetarians, the view from the bedroom window is so beautiful looking onto the green square, forrest, hills, mountains and water inlet. Had a nice evening meal at The Old School House in the town. Would love to have stayed longer to explore the walks and cycle routes.
Hosts wonderful. Relaxing ambience, great sleep, terrific breakfast in beautiful surroundings, room with a view that is spectacular and unique. Everything about Sands Bed and breakfast was of much higher quality than anything we have ever experienced in other Bed and Breakfasts. We will definitely return!
Excellent hospitality and very comfortable room with views over the Lough. Very good breakfast.
Lovely room with great view - spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Lovely breakfast and very welcoming hosts.
Within walking distance to town center. Location is outstanding. Staff provided info on local places to eat.
Very helpful and welcome to their home
John and Anne are wonderful hosts -provided excellent food, music, and conversation; comfortable beds, clean room with an incredible view of the inlet. If taking the coastal road from Dublin to Belfast, or hiking/biking in the Mountains of Mourne, this B & B is worth spending a night or more in.
Beautiful house, gardens and location - couldn't have been in a more beautiful setting! The couple who run it were lovely, and breakfast superb
