I'm not usually one to complain about petty things and usually just get on with it but after the receptionist was incompetent on two occasions and rude to my partner here goes- the receptionist made a dinner reservation for us at the restaurant on the beach, we booked for 8.30pm, when we arrived around 8.20 the waitor asked "did the receptionist not explain it will be around 8.45/9.00, I did ask her to relay this on to you as we're so busy" we wouldn't have minded the wait but the receptionist never passed this onto us. In the morning getting ready to go down for breakfast we had a phone call- the receptionist- "ive had a chat with the girl, we'll bring breakfast up to you" my partner replied "it's ok we'd rather go down to the restaurant, but thank you" the receptionist then said "No, the girl said its ok we'll bring breakfast to your room, you pay more" my partner said "no thank you we'll go the restaurant" the receptionist replied "Ok" then hung up the phone! This is what got my back up and who is "the girl"?! The shower was pathetic all though to be fair the room did say "with bathtub". I could feel the springs in the bed. And a pillow had a cigarette burn in it. 2 light fittings didn't work but I'm sure they would have rectified this if I had of complained. I would still go back but now know what to expect from reception- all other staff really friendly and facilities great and clean.
Location, the breakfast/food was really nice, the pools, music dj and the relaxed entertainment of the evening, majority of staff really friendly.
