Staff fine, menu limited unless you paid extra
No hot water, kopt being told to run the tap longer, so much for climate control
Good size rooms and a great view, close to the town and beach
Hotel is very out dated, the lift is far to small it says 6 people you can't get any more than 4, the car park is also to small, and you can't get park in the street
Everything was good
No real parking available
Location brilliant, excellent price
Breakfast was average
staff vv polite.facilities excellent.well done to you all
Heating in room excessive ,we did ask if/when it went off ,but it didn't
I stayed in the winter and paid £35 for a single room which was excellent value. The hotel is clean and professionaly run.
Convenient for my needs, definitely clean enough, receptionist was pleasant and having not been feeling well the night before asked me next day how I was. She was also very happy happy to change my room as the first one smelled very strongly of paint. Good that they keep the place updated!
On the 2nd floor, the cringing singer from downstairs was far too audible. The radiator wasn't controllable so the room was stiflingly hot - even with the window open! Breakfast was shocking. The billed "cumberland" sausage was very low quality, poached egg was solid, an under grilled acidic tomato, a very low quality hash brown and a plate swimming in beans. Tea and toast were adequate! I did only pay 30 quid for the lot. Would've been very unhappy to have to stay for any longer or pay any more.
Huge comfortable room, marvellous view, birthday surprise.
Cramped bathroom and had to run taps for at least ten minutes to get any hot water. £5 charge for parking or risk parking in road.

Quality and quantity of dinner served in restaurant was unsatisfactory served on barely warm plates. Breakfast waited 20 mins to be served and then toast and English breakfast arrived cold, tea just luke warm. This 'Coach party' hotel caters for the elderly who don't eat much and can't eat hot food. Staff apologized and said they were short staffed but did nothing to compensate us in any way - the receptionist had an uncaring attitude and requires further training in customer service and told not to be talking on her mobile phone in front of waiting customers. Totally ruined my partner's Birthday stay in Bournemouth. NEVER AGAIN AT THIS HOTEL - owners and management you should be ashamed
friendly staff,3 course dinner 14.95 ,location, and price! great room with balcony and views
all of the stay could not fault it
The room was lovely Very clean and warm
Unfortunately mix up with car park spaces...a space was booked 2 weeks before my stay but on arrival the space had been used by another guest. On speaking to the receptionist were we allocated another space but again that was allocated to someone else and yet again we had to move our car. Because of this we missed eating in your restaurant for an evening meal. This in turn, unfortunately missing our meal.My partner who is a type 1diabetic had a hypo which resulted in him being unwell. This we feel was and is unacceptable.
Room was refurbished, clean and comfortable.
Check-out and breakfast too early for a leisure trip: 10:00 am!!! The staff at the restaurant where breakfast is served simply ignores you if you arrive there at 9:55 like we did. Not worth the hassle!
There is no connection possible for mobiles as the walls are apparently too thick. The room was cold. The bathroom is too old.
Staff were very helpful and breakfast good Rooms ok but dated
No hot water in the morning Bit pricey at £105 per night
Good service, room ready early, good breakfast, lovely balcony and gardens with a view of the sea beyond.
Breakfast tables not re-laid, so we had to sit on a table for 6, then waitress moved 4 tables away for another party.
Position of the hotel. Very pleasant lady from the office found us somewhere to park our car.
Room 321. Bathroom badly needed up dating and I mean badly! Bedroom grim, mattress uncomfortable. The only modern thing was the flat screen television and that was hidden from view and couldn't be seen from the bed. Window and frame were filthy and in need of repair. More choice of fruit at breakfast would have been nice. We won't be back.
The grounds decking area overlooking the sea. We could see over to Weymouth on the right and needles to the left. We took our glass of wine and at the end of Sept enjoyed the last of the summer. Breathtaking!
Lack of parking . very unhelpful receptionist, who suggested as we were early just leave our luggage by the stairs. Really !
Parking half a mile away. Not booking the hotel's own car park.
location and staff
four floors and one four person lift
there is a pool well located
pool open from 10 to 18 only check out at 10 so need to book 2 nights to enjoy it no wifi in the rooms no breakfast on the terrasse, only inside staff not trying to clean the table next to the terrasse and Telling the customers they simply cannot sit there because it is not clean (not thinking about cleaning it to satisfy customers) car park full - max 2 hours carpak fe outside
Nice clean hotel, very good staff, good location from Bournemouth centre. We had a free upgrade to a Garden Room (superior) which was really lovely and spacious with a king size bed which was very comfortable. And the full size snooker table (near reception) was an unexpected good hour or two at the end of an evening...
Nearly all of the other guests were over 50 and most of which were northern and miserable faced! Looked like their only holiday of the year and would moan about it the whole time! Haha... Made breakfast a little bit uncomfortable but if I was old and northern I'd be in heaven! Not ideal for a young couple. I looked at other rooms before we got given an upgrade and they looked small and dated so avoid them if you want a pleasant room with a decent sized bed.
The staff were very helpful, breakfast was good, plenty to choose from, the price of the rooms
The room we stayed in needs updating, the bathroom was looking very tired.
Breakfast poor. Beds uncomfortable.
