Nice room and dinner
No hairdryer so could not wash my hair. I would usually expect one in the room if not at least available to hire.
Staff very friendly and accomadating. Relaxed atmosphere in the bar in evenings.
Small point but lighting in room (room 4) very dim and difficult to read anything so had bathroom light on with bathroom door open which helped but still not adequate. Also could have done with a second bedside table.
staff, food, bed. superb.
very small shower,bathroom.
It was very good value. The evening meal was very reasonably priced. Everything was satisfactory and we had no complaints.
The accommodation The bed/room The views
The way made the extra attention to let us now they remembered it was our special occasion
The friendly atmosphere
No breakfast available
Good food, clean and reasonably priced.
Small rooms and road slightly noisey.Better lighting in rooms required.
Location easy to find with plenty of parking. Bathroom super clean and modern. Decent breakfast, and happily catered for a vegetarian choice.
Bed is very small and not the most comfortable (my feet hung off the end of it). Checking in seemed disorganised and breakfast timings overly regimented.
The location and the external appearance are great as are the staff, beyond that.......?
The answer to my header question is the toilet shower room which also contains a hand basin, tiny or what! The problem is this venue has tried to cram to many rooms into what was obviously an attic and there is just not enough space. For the price paid we should have gone to Premier.
Great value! Needed somewhere to stay en route to Tenby. Room was small but perfectly ample for 1 night. It was immaculate cosy and had all we needed. Lovely Girl behind the bar. On the main road into Tenby but traffic noise was certainly not an issue. Would definitely stay again.
Staff were very friendly, breakfasts were cooked fresh and were nice and hot. Good situation for places like Tenby and Saundersfoot. Free Wi Fi. Lunch and evening meals on a 2 for 1 bases were well cooked and very reasonably priced.
Although the rooms were clean there wasn't enough storage space would benefit from a small chest of draws. There was no reading light by the bed and the overhead light was a bit harsh to read or watch the tv by. The en suit was miniscule with barely enough room to use the loo and the wash hand basin wasn't big enough to have a wash or a shave in and no area to put any toiletries.
room ok, friendly staff
poor wifi meant i couldn't work as i wanted
Recently refurbished rooms, very clean bedroom and bathroom. Usual tea, coffe facilities and shower soap in bathroom. Ok for a 1 night stay but not longer.
Next to busy main road which is noisey especially with windows open. Also noise from large extractor in kitchen. First hotel ever I had to book a time to have breakfast. Main fault is with eveningmeals, pub operate a 2 for 1 offer but refused to allow me to pick a starter and main couse, did offer to choose 2 mains but remove part of the food from one meal creating a smaller starter but you have to have it all served at once. Poor value for a single guest
the food was good and in a nice spot very busy
the shower and toilet room was a bit small
Room 2 Cozy and Quaint, great bathroom large bathroom Room 5 Great bedroom and very soft and comfortable bed. Food was very tastefully presented and proved to be just as tasteful on the tongue. Staff really friendly and willing to spend time, when not busy, to talk and help with day trip advice. 2 for 1 pricing blew away the competition for value of money - good Brains .
Room 2 rock hard bed and sloping to the head board due to the floor not being level. Room 5 Very small bathroom, and flaky water pressure.
Good access to Irish ferry
Staff very friendly, nice room and good food
Shower in both our room and children's room were very temperamental but hey, it was ok for a swill
Staff were very friendly and helpfull.
Tiny double room with a tiny bathroom and a ridiculous small sink. We were shown the side entrance for getting in when the pub was shut and were told the lights would some on automatically when we entered, which they didn't. We were left fumbling around in the dark trying to find the stairs. We paid for and missed our breakfast on the first morning and but were told we still had to pay for it as the chef had prepared it (how? He didn't know what we were going to order) Will not be going back.
The staff were very friendly, rooms were very clean, food was excellent value for money and the location of the hotel was in the middle of all locations
The bathroom was very small
The food was good in the restaurant.
The bathroom was far to small The room was very badly lit, and had very limited room to move around. Very poorly arranged.
All excellent value good clean excellent value, Staff a definate asset
The room was clean and the pub was good for evening food and drinks. Close to the town centre but easy to find on the main road. Friendly staff.
No bath. Breakfast had poor selection for £6 a head- only orange juice, small full English (no other options), nasty Nescafé coffee. Very ho- our room was above the kitchen!
Room was spotless, comfortable and spacious
Location Staff Food Clean Nice room Atmosphere
Constant banging and crashing in our room (Room 1) which I presume was from the kitchen. It's never ending all evening long.
