Beautiful refurbished hotel, can recommend the High Tea which I had but the Afternoon Tea looks just as good.
My room 534 was very noisy it was double glazed, but clearly it was not working and there was a motor running all the time I was there I think it was the service lift nearby
Fabulous bed but little else
Staff were very unfriendly. Never rang us to tell us the room was ready when they said they would. No apologies when they failed to call us back when we told the shop that a product we bought was faulty. We would have received far better at Claridges!
Staff excellent Facilities excellent
Didn't receive the newspaper I ordered on Sunday morning. Charged for water at the bar that I didn't ask for, nor actually receive Shouldn't need to pay for wifi - this Should be free
Room, food staff and hotel all excellent
At dinner the cheese came came straight from the fridge and was therefor tastless
Very quiet room considering the hotel's location. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Considering the cost of the room, we thought the charge of £9.99 per day for wi-fi was unnecessary and that the cost of food and drink in the mini bar was highly inflated - £7 for a small bar of chocolate and £5 for a bottle of water!
All the public rooms and Savoy grill, Beaufort bar, Kaspar bar, breakfast in room all oustanding
Ordered a twin so had to have bed put in room as large double available.
This was a treat with a friend and we were made to feel like royalty. The staff make The Savoy a truly amazing experience. The American Bar was our favourite place both afternoon and evening for cocktails and the manager there made us feel very special.
The savoy is faultless!
The beds are comfortable and the room was quiet. We did write to the manager to express our disappointment and we received a reply which did say that they had taken my points on board and were addressing them with the staff, which I hope they do.
We didn't like the following. Outpr luggagewent missing, we waited around 2 hours and eventually they asked us to identify it. We ate in the seafood restaurant and my lobster starter crockery and cutlery was dropped into my lap after I had eaten it, no bread being offered with the soup starter my husband had, no finger bowl brought for the fruit de mer. We eventually did get the bread and finger bowl, once we asked for them. Very loud TV in the bathroom and no option to turn it off or down if it was being watched in the bedroom. Wi-fi charges, totally unnecessary and should be automatically available free of charge. We have stayed here previously and had a fantastic time, so this experience was a real shame?
Friendly and efficient staff.
Excellent room let down by poor storage for clothes; also super bathroom let down by poor toilet operation.
After our first problems it was wonderful the staff where excellent especially three members.
The fact that we had to change rooms at the start due to the quality.
The staff were all so helpful and friendly without exception. Loved the bathroom & shower
Would have liked more room in the bedroom
Our weekend stay was great. The room and quality of the room was exceptional.
Service in the main cocktail bar let the rest of the hotel service down. From ordering our 2 drinks, it was 14 minutes before we received them. Drink prices on the high side.
The location is great, the service was wonderful and the hotel beautiful. A truly memorable stay.
Check in very slick
Service just a little lacking, queue for the American Bar and slow service, no cloths on the table for breakfast and items arrived haphazardly. Room lighting dull with extremely small window offering no real light. Rooms a little small
the first room we were taken to was a box. had to ask for bags four times when we left.
There wasn't anything I didn't like
Central, helpful registration ,concierge , good room service . All in all a very enjoyable visit
Bad table at Kaspars - felt like we were not Important to them . I spoke to Maitre D Also no Dover Sole on the Menu
Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Great location and service
Breakfast was average for the price paid. Excellent service, however
This is a truly beautiful hotel. Great location central to theatres, shops and visitor attractions. From the moment you arrive until you depart you are made to feel special. The customer service is by far the best that I have experienced anywhere.
I felt wellcom in any occasions, the staff was perfectly polite - hardly any place for improvement
Iv been in 5 star hotels I'll Over the world and the savoy is my favourite for sure! The staff where amazing and and service was second to none
My wife and I had travelled to London to have lunch at The Ritz, courtesy of our daughter and chose to stay overnight at The Savoy as a treat to ourselves . We arrived 3 hours earlier than the booking in time,we were taken straight to the registration area and our bags were taken up to our room while we went for coffee.Upoon returning from our luncheon, we were again greeted the door and taken up to our room which was exquisite . Dinner in Kaspar's bar was excellent as was the service and having been joined by our son and daughter in law for drinks in the Beaufort and American bars later on, we were again impressed with the excellent service and attention to our comfort and requirements .
As I am vegetarian , I felt the menus were very limited to my preferences but having said that, when my wife asked at breakfast if there was an option of a vegetarian sausage in the full English , the waiter went off to check and upon returning, responded with a yes madam.
Wonderful . The best hotel ever.
