its a family run hotel who made you feel at home & were very friendly, hotel was clean & the food excellent. good beer in the bar downstairs too.
Its a pity the hotel is in Morcambe, nothing to do these days for kids, better for older people on their own
Very clean and excellent Breakfast. This is not an expensive hotel. For the price it was an excellent find
the sea crest has a great location just off the promenade, check in was smooth and efficient, the family room was spacious, clean and quiet. we paid for breakfast on arrival, 14 pounds for all four of us!! excellent value, the food was fantastic, served hot, with as much cereal ,toast coffee and tea as we wanted.the staff were friendly and very helpful.we would recommend the Sea Crest and will definitely be returning!!
there was nothing not to like about this hotel.
Beds & staff!
Sausages; 'lucky bags'
very nice B&B, nice friendly welcome, room was perfect for what we needed, overnight stay etc, very pleased & would stay again :) !!!
the location, where the B&B was located, sadly it was a run down area !!!
The size of the room was great. The staff helpful at all times, they were warm and friendly too. It had a homely feel to it. Breakfast was excellent. It was quiet and comfortable.
The bathroom was small and the shower wasn't great.
The welcome was friendly. Room was clean and idea for an overnight stay. 2 nights would have been better. Family happy :-)
Staff (owner?) was very courteous and had no issues with a late check-in after getting delayed due to bad traffic. Breakfast was good and staff kept on enquiring about any needs. Had a personal touch.
Room size was just reasonable for a twin bedded family room - averagely maintained. Computer remote was functional, but was showing its 'age'. Toilet - basic. Considering the price paid - you get what you have paid for.
Owners were really lovely, excellent breakfast, couldn't fault anything.
The room is cosy and very clean. The restaurant is within walking distant. The wifi is great!
everything stay there again
Noise from other guests late into the night.
the hospitality the breakfast and everyone was very friendly
The rooms need updated the bathroom very dated bathroom door didn't close we tidied our own rooms which was our choice but no clean towels on our last night the bath towel was put on radiator which meant we couldn't shower the last morning as only one bath towel which wAs from day before didn't give us new hand towels either but left the ones from day before so that was a disappointment as they changed towels every day prior to that
Friendly staff, comfy room
Showers had hair in the drains in the poolside changing rooms two days running, room a bit expensive
Warm welcome. Clean comfortable rooms at an affordable price. Excellent choices for breakfast..In fact we felt set up for the day foodwise.Area seemed
Area of situation felt a little run down. Many hotels up for sale and looking a bit "seedy"in spite of this I would recommend to friends and would certainly stay again if opportunity arose.
Very clean rooms. Quiet neighborhood. Promenade a few steps away. Easy walk into town.
Nice room clean and tidy, also the children aged 9 and 6 enjoyed sharing a double bed. Wasnt keenw
Wasnt keen on the bathroom was too small shower to near the door
Very helpful and cheerful staff A very comfortable stay and would recommend to family and friends
the owners were friendly the bar with entertainment
we were not given the option of ordering food when booking. we were kept awake by a dog barking more or less none stop night and day. there wasn't any room to put toiletries when washing at the basin /and in the shower. the towel ring by the shower was hanging off the wall in fact kept falling off the bed was hard and uncomfortable
The breakfast was excellent. I haven't tasted bacon like that for a long time. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was fully booked on our second night. We were attending a wedding at The Midland Hotel and this guest house was extremely handy for that reason
On the first night we stayed there, the karoke bar across the road was very noisy but it closed at midnight which was good. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from drunks leaving the pub. The second night we got back to the hotel later and the bar was already closed and nobody was hanging around outside this time.
Very welcoming family run business. Nicely decorated/furnished room with sea view. Breakfast filled you for the day. Excellent base to have days out in south lakes and beyond. Bar in the evening to wind down. Confident we will use this place again. Excellent in all respects!
Pleasant staff, nice functional clean room.
Clean, hot water, friendly
The location was fine just off the promenade - Free car parking
The room looked nothing like the picture on the internet. It was clean but rather dowdy. Shower kept going from hot to cold and back again and was hard to regulate. Breakfast was average - sausages had no taste at all
Friendly staff gave us suggestions about local activities. Really clean and fresh bedroom, seemed to have been recently decorated and carpeted. Location very close to the promenade and beach. Games room a good safe place for the children to play - good security on the hotel prevented access by non-guests. A good choice of breakfast.
