Stayed for just 2 midweek nights. I received a warm welcome and was shown to a spacious single room at the front of the hotel. The room looked directly over the road bridge that crosses the River Severn. The room was very clean and comfortable. Everything I needed was provided. The shared bathroom was also spacious and clean. Again, everything needed was provided. The shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent. There was a choice of cereals, fresh fruit, fruit juices etc followed by a delicious, and generous, full English breakfast, toast and unlimited tea or coffee. A great start to the day. For those who prefer not to walk up to the High Town, the cliff railway is practically next to the hotel. I was made to feel at home by very friendly, helpful hosts. I would definitely stay again if visiting Bridgnorth.

    Friendly Staff and prompt service

Lack of parking at the hotel, noisy revellers at 02:00 which disturbed my sleep.

Overlooking the bridge over the river a short (but steep) walk from either the town centre or SVR. Breakfast was execellent and the staff were friendly and only too happy to help.

Parking is inevitably less than ideal.

We were attending a party at Bridgenorth Rugby Club and this hotel is a two minute walk over the bridge. We stayed here once before and this time, we didn`t even look at anywhere else Staff are friendly and accommodating, room spotless and great breakfast.
