Good size, clean, light room, staff very helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast and good ales at the bar!
The staff and the room was excellent - I can't fault them at all
TV reception was patchy
Comfort and friendliness and located within walking distance of our sons house.
The staff were very friendly, couldn't do enough to please you. Very helpful, polite & generally catering for all your needs. Thanks for the hospitality Emily
Having to come away, as only down country for one night. I will definatley return in the future, hopefully for a few more nights for work and to get in a bit of trout fishing in the famous Blagdon waters
Excellent facilities, recently re-furbished throughout. Very warm welcome and really impressive breakfast.
The decking by the entrance to the rooms was slippery (in January) and potentially dangerous.
Comfortable Warm and friendly staff Clean and tidy Breakfast wonderful Everything about this place was perfect Def stay again
Room clean and comfortable. Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Good choice of Breakfast.
A couple of minor design issues in the bathroom, the self above the sink made use of the sink difficult and when the shower was on full the floor go very wet.
The breakfast was 1st class. All the staff most helpfull
The room could have been warmer. Heating only put on when we arrived Also no chair in room
Our room was very tastefully decorated, as was the whole of this newly refurbished accommodation. Very comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast with a good choice of both hot and cold food. Really pleasant helpful staff.
The sink in the bathroom was very small with a shelf directly above which made it really difficult to wash your face or brush your teeth without getting more water on the floor than down the sink! Could be easily fixed by removing the shelf!
Warm staff and great breakfast, but the icing on the cake was sleeping in a bed as comfortable as my own, this is too rare a treat in most establishments. The Sunday lunch looked very inviting too.
Sorry gents the ladies don't necessarily want to envelop themselves in the warm spray of a large shower head attached to the ceiling, with or without a shower cap it ruins ones hair! Was there a hairdryer or mirror in bedroom? a frosted window sticker would be good too. Honest I loved the place otherwise!!!
Staff are very friendly and the food is excellent plus a vast range of ales, well worth staying and good price for area and the rooms are immaculate
The food was excellent, a huge 'cooked to order, full English' and/or buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner available to those who want it, with well prepared locally-influenced dishes. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our overnight stay, and we believe the business is under new management and that it will improve with a little more investment. We would be pleased to return to the Seymour Arms in the future.
The room was sparsly furnished with very poor lighting, particularly in the bathroom. Single glazed window could prove chilly in the winter months. No indoor or covered link from our bedroom to main pub, access only by steep steps, passing the kitchen extractor fans en-route.
The shower was fantastic and staff friendly and efficient.
The bed was very comfortable. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was just fab
Comfy bed, convenient car park, very friendly staff, breakfast well cooked and plenty of choice, sympathetic modernisation, cosy log burner with a glass of local ale.
Wooden floor made other hotel patrons footsteps noisy when going to rooms.wish we had known how dark Blagdon is ...no street lights.....we would have brought a torch !
Lovely new accommodation and fab pub!
The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Delicious scrambled eggs at breakfast! The bedroom looked stylish.
Our bedroom was overlooked by neighbours. No chair or drawers if you were staying longer.
Nice room. Good food. Good real ales.Friendly staff.
Staff friendly and helpful, polite and attentive. Nice rooms recently renovated. Comfortable bed. Nice meal in restaurant in the evening and even better freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. Food all served piping hot.
Our room did not have a dressing table with a mirror or hair dryer, I must for most ladies! Although very clean and new, as a personal preference we do like carpet, it also helps to absorb other sounds.
Friendly staff Extremely clean rooms Excellent food in the restaurant Comfy bed Well decorated
Wifi was inaccessible from our room.
The atmosphere in the bar, the steak and chips, the bedroom and bathroom though not fully furnished were most acceptable, Yeo Valley yogurt, of course.
No hairdryer and noisy road awoke us at 0430 hrs.
Good location for wedding at Combe Lodge and a good breakfast top notch all round. Thank you
really friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, good atmosphere. wouls definately go back to stay or just for food
Dinner was great and so was breakfast. Lovely clean crisp bed linen and tons of hot water for wide bath. proximity to airport good too.
