Food Staff all friendly and really good Location Big rooms Well spec'ed, powerful shower
Location was excellent for Autodrome track day.
Double bed was two twins put together but they were not properly attached or zipped together and came apart during night. No drinking water in room. No clock in room. TV was small and a long way from bed and did not angle towards it, so couldn't watch TV from bed.
Location, very easy to find, 24 hour access, good parking, stylish, very good breakfast and catering for allergy sufferers
I have had dinner in the restaurant in the past but I avoid that now. Its a shame the restaurant food doesn't live up to the other facilities
Nice fairly new building, with large spacious room. Quiet location.
Very slow service in the evening - but excellent food which was worth waiting for.
Hotel reception, building, rooms all very nice, especially if you like Italian style. Restaurant good for breakfast.
The main reason I chose this was the Vesuvio restaurant but this was a BIG disappointment. Great menu including a gluten free page but the food didn't live up to the most basic expectation and restaurant staff not very well trained. Give it a miss. That said, it was a good breakfast
Excellent location for the Palmer sports and very friendly.
The only down sides I had was bad signal through O2 and the hotel WiFi was down (although this was explained to us upon arrival due to no fault of their own)
Lovely location.Very friendly and organised staff. Evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast. Lovely walk down to the quaint local village. Very good large room with as requested single beds.Would use this hotel again.
Nice Italian music, but a bit loud at times. Seemed to be an excess of fire doors! Sound on a rather old tv was pretty bad. Bathroom fan was very ,very noisy. We had to turn it off at the isolator. These are not complaints and we told reception about the fan.
staff very friendly, great place to base yourself, for the area.just really nice little hotel.
The staff could not of been more helpful they were all lovely and the restaurant was great the food was great .
Each room is huge! Priced to suit the business budget, with all facilities needed to work away from home. Nice modern decor and good ventilation.
Receptionist was on a personal call when I arrived and didn't hang up for nearly 5 minutes. Unfortunately, she lowered my expectations for the rest of the stay, which was not reflected in the quality of the rest of the hotel and staff. Only let down was at breakfast, my favourite whinge, the sausages were a very poor quality, sort of grey and textureless. I have long held the belief that breakfast should be an advert for dinner in these establishments, so a breakfast sausage should be as tasty as the three bangers and mash on the evening menu.
Good size room, friendly service and good food.
Lovely big room with comfy bed, only bad point was no air con in the room, and it was pretty hot in there but other than that highly recommended :-)
Size of the suite was lovely and the bucket of water and little bottle of bubbly was a nice touch. Breakfast was tastey The fact that after complaining about the lack of aircon, fan, WIFI and hairy bathroom we had £20 taken off the bill.
WiFi didnt work Hair on the bathroom floor - not mine, I have red short hair and my husband has very short blonde hair and the hair in the bathroom was long and brown. No Air con and no fan, stayed on one of the hottest days/nights of the year and although we had suite there had not been a fan automatically provided. We checked in late it had been a very long day, so all we wanted to do was go to bed, therefore did not go down to see the night porter to complain.
large room, cleanliness, good breakfast, good choice of evening meal, and tasty food,
there was nothing that we didn't like!
Very friendly, helpful staff on both Reception and in the Restaurant.
room and restaurant
no seating lounge other than a small area near the bar
The parking space, the room was very big and clean.
some animals (spiders and big mosquitoes) inside the room due to the window left opened. Not so much choiche for breakfast (no croissants or sweets on the little table in the middle of the room, just few uninviting things). Wifi was not working at all and the television was positioned where you cannot see at that!!!!!!! Just flat on the left hand side of the room! The beds were in the middle/right hand side!! You can do better, as you got the potential with this Hotel.
All was good, food very nice. Staff very good.
Nothing not to like.
The whole experience was very good from welcome to departure. I would stay there agagin
Good location, good parking and excellent staff.
Room was noisy as directly over kitchen and all it's fans.
The location was perfect hotel had a very friendly feel about it
Shower was lacking in pressure other than that all good
No complaints apart from noisy guests in next room. Lovely big clean room. Great breakfast. Pleasant reception and waiting staff.
Could hear neighbours in next room all evening which got so bad I had to phone reception to complain in early hours of morning. Obviously did the trick as they soon quietened down. Would be an idea to have a notice somewhere asking guests to respect those in the next room with regards to noise.
Staff where friendly and provided and excellent service.
Ideal location for a concert we were attending. Very comfortable bed; asked for upper floor and quiet room and that's what we got. Good breakfast and pleasant staff. Very nice Receptionist directed us to a lovely local country park to walk in.
The bar area was part of the main restaurant and we would have preferred a separate area for hotel guests to relax and have a drink in. The tea tray in the room only had one individual pack of basic biscuits for two people and 3 tea bags for the day; could do with just being a little more generous in relation to room rate paid. Wi-Fi kept dropping out but guess that happens in rural areas.
