Staff generally helpful and friendly.Location ideal for our visit, seconds away from Wylam Institute where we were attending a reception with family and friends.
Breakfast was not very well organised. We had to find someone to serve us tea and coffee. The evening meal that we had was not too good.We cut our stay short and were refunded for our third night.A sorry end to an otherwise good weekend.
The people generally were friendly. The room was clean
I found that the bed was not made up or towels folded. On the evening of my last day I requested that I had breakfast at 0830 hours the following morning and gave that request to Vicky the manageress. There was no one there to give me breakfast and I had to leave. I contacted and spoke with Vicky who said she would email me and offer free accommodation if I would come and stay again. To date no email confirmation has been received despite my texting her with my email address. I felt given the circumstances that this was disappointing to be treated in this way
Friendly, helpful staff Clean, comfy beds flexible on check in time
Cutlery could do with a polish
Price. Manager of pub getting up in night to ask guests to be quiet.
Twin room, 2nd bed was fold up bed. Room had damp, curtains not hung properly. Wardrobe was a hanging rail. No table, no tv, no hairdryer. Band in pub very loud.
Comfy bed, great bathroom, quality breakfast.
Staff were friendly Wine was reasonably priced Great value for money
No remote control for the TV provided in the room so couldn't watch TV at all-not really a problem but it woudl have been nice to have had one
The room is upstair the pub. Room and bathroom were both very clean. We enjoyed live music at the pub and had a good rest. We stopped by Wylam going to Hadrian's wall. The distance is perfect and the town is lovely.
I would take the emergency light off from the room. The green light on is not comfortable for sleeping.
very friendly staff and good beers and wines, Manageress is a likable person
Breakfast cheap sausage and uncooked mushrooms and eggs
The accommodation was excellent value and in a convenient location for our visit to the Tyne Valley. The room was clean and well presented. The cooked breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
pub was lovely, clean and pleasant. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Don't yet do evening meals
The staff were sofriendly and helpful and a great cooked breakfeast the room wasclean and fresh would go again
The rooms are directely above the Bar! Very noisy. Coudn't get any sleep before 01.00. The owner should decide if she wants a Pup or a B&B. Both is not possible!!
Staff really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast reasonable. Nice pub to relax in after a long commute. Price reasonable.
No handle on the bedroom door needed several attempts to close when leaving the room. No table or desk in the room to work off. No TV in room. Bedside lamp on floor.
The rooms are decorated really nicely and the staff were really helpful when I couldn't find the B&B and when I needed extra towels and pillows.
The double beds are the smallest I have ever seen! Looked like it was only just bigger than a single bed, we were pretty tight for spce so didn't sleep well. There was also noise from the pub below at midnight and again at 7am. The B&B is cash only which I was only told on the day, fortunately there is a cash machine at the SPAR next door.
Comfy room, lovely bathroom and excellent breakfast
Noisy until late but expected that with it being a very busy pub
