Location Big room Air con Fridge Lift
Road noise even supply earplugs No safe Drain smell in bathroom
Car parking - very rare for Shrewsbury Helpful staff/ owners Walking distance to town Clean and comfortable rooms
Hot water ran out after 1 shower.
It was very clean and comfortable.in a lovely area and staff very helpful
The hotel was near to everything and most important in a town like Shrewsbury there was good free parking at the hotel. The room and bathroom was nice and comfortable. Breakfast is well cooked and very plentiful.
Dinner was a real negative, unless you like burger and frys and such stuff, mind you they do a steak also. With a little more thought they could do so much better. I felt with so many good eating places in the surrounding areas I wasted one night eating there.
Great staff, decor, food
A little noise from traffic for rooms at the front
Clean and modern room Excellent Food both breakfast and evening restaurant meal Excellent location close to town centre Polite efficient staff
Nothing to dislike during our stay
The location, staff and breakfast.
Noise from road traffic (though I realise this can't be helped).
Convenient location for city centre and particularly for theatre. Friendly and helpful staff. Car park a boon in a busy town. Fresh milk and bottles of water in room fridge. Excellent breakfast.
Location is quite noisy next to a main road but earplugs are helpfully provided.
We had a v enjoyable meal with guests in the evening & a comfortable night. Complimentary ear plugs were impressive, showing thoughtfulness about potential disturbance from the street outside. What's more, I needed to work in the hotel the next day after checking out and the staff provided me with a table in the restaurant with a plug and wifi and kept me supplied with drinking water all day! - We were very impressed!
Clean comfortable and well decorated room.
Hotel was fabulous.Staff were extremly helpful. Food was very good. Wonderful experience!
Everything you need
Nothing to dislike
Everything was very good. I will stay again
No beans with breakfast!! Personal taste!! Everything was great
Selected, and paid for, a "King Room" however upon arrival were assigned a standard double. It was comfy enough however was not what we wanted so felt slightly hard done by considering you are given a choice when booking.
Clean and modern. Really helpful staff. Good location.
A few noisy guests who slammed doors. Not the hotel's fault.
Excellent, helpful and friendly service from each member of staff who were a credit to the hotel and Shrewsbury. Fresh milk in a fridge in the room was a good touch. The food we ate was good quality and cooked to a high standard.
Lovely clean hotel with a nice basic breakfast. Wish we'd stayed longer to take advantage of the bar terrace.
Room next to the road which was quite noisy.
Possibly the most impressive aspect of our stay was the switched on staff. Friendly , helpful and efficient. The room although small was well equipped and comfortable. Good bed!!! nice walk in shower above all CLEAN through out. Breakfast good . Thoroughly recommend this business.
Three flights up to the room with only a lift to the first floor. Not for the elderly.
Helpful and friendly staff, cleanliness of room, good evening meal and breakfast.
My room was close to road and noise was distracting until later when traffic died down.
Location - just a short walk across river Severn into town centre Spotless, spacious ensuite room with air con and small fridge (with 2 complimentary bottles of water and fresh milk) Complimentary toiletries and huge heated towel rail in bathroom with power shower Spacious, airy dining room and bar areas Free on site parking Welcoming, attentive and helpful staff Hearty breakfast
Staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make us hapoy & comfortable and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived . Bed exceptionally comfy , bar was lovely and just a short stroll from the town centre . Owners clearly love their hotel and they deserve great success .
Poached eggs were not runny but that's just a tiny nit pick - as rest of breakfast was first rate .
Nothing was too much for co-owners David and Donna. Friendly staff. Location almost on the river was excellent. The room and bathroom were well-presented, clean and spacious. On-site parking is an added bonus. Excellent value with quality a-la-carte breakfast included in price.
My husband stayed here whilst in Shrewsbury for a family party. We were disappointed that we could only have a twin room but it was made up with two small doubles and the room was well appointed and very comfortable. Wifi was easy to access and very fast. All staff were very friends and nothing was too much effort
There was a band playing in an adjacent pub upon arrival which was very load in the hotel but this was during the day and stopped by the time we were ready to go to bed and didn't disturb our sleep.
Great, friendly service. Comfortable beds. Breakfast. Provision of earplugs in rooms facing road
The bed was awesome the room spacious ,clean, comfortable, the staff very friendly and efficient
The noise from the road side and people walking past into the early hours of the morning which caused me to have limited sleep
