Staff friendly. Bed comfortable. Breakfast excellent.
Damp smell to room
Very reasonable hotel only 10-15mins from Plymouth car ferry so very good fro overnight stop for ferries returning at night, easy to get underway next morning without having to get out of PlymouthVery helpful staff.
Nice welcome upon arrival.
Black stuff came off a chair in room 5 and went onto my wife's trousers.
Staff Friendly, excellent staff service. quiet location, and ample parking
very short breakfast times, I was in a tired family room that needed refurbishment.
The Staff are very polite and attentive. Breakfast has an impressive range with items like scrambled egg and smokedsalmon, eggs benedict and plenty more choice. Breakfast choice is 5 star and quality likewise.
Nothing to put here.
The breakfast was a really good size and there was a variety of what you could have The food in the restaurant was excellent The staff were all lovely and very welcoming The room was clean and modern The furniture was brand new
The room above mine had a very creaky floor and you could hear the person above as soon as they stepped out of bed The bathroom looked like it needed a bit of a make over
Quality of rooms, bedding and the cleanliness was a disgrace. Whiskers in our basin from the previous occupants beard. NOT NICE.
Overall very good food and staff plus location
The bed was poor quality with a very thin mattress. This is the only thing that let you down
Evening meal and breakfast were good Staff polite and helpful God location on A38
Room (7) was pretty basic - no table to work at, poor lighting. Wifi only available in the bar - not in your room. Quite expensive (£82) for a one night stay for one person B&B.
ideal location for plymouth but not too close, staff great and so was the restaurant and very good value
nothing to complain about it was all good
The viewings outside were lovely, small and cosy and perfect location.
Damp and mould in the bedroom and had to leave at 8am after being kept awake with people above walking and squeaking the floor boards! Shame as would have like to have stayed for breakfast and chilled out until 11am
The quietness before upstairs neighbours arrived
The complete lackmofvquietness and reaction to our subtle complaint re continuos creaking of floorboards banging of boots and complete blocking of our view from our window when he could gave parked in sixty plus other places. The attitude of staff when we very politely reported our problem. Which on our return home we found endorsed by countless other visitors. The breakfast was overpriced too!
We were welcomed well and checking in was easy. Staff very helpful with recommendations and tried hard to please.
Old décor (peeling wallpaper) needs to be updated. Wifi not too good and the TV signal came and went. Not clean inside drawers.
Damp above wardrobe on ceiling. Carpet in friends room terrible. They had to change rooms. All of the rooms were or poor quality.
Only one member of staff on running around, the menu was nothing like what they offered on line all easy fryed food. The rooms were old and tired and required binnoculars to see the TV. Were rudely woken by delivery men at 05.30. No room service,
Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast.
There was no sound proofing and we could hear every bit of movement from adjoining rooms.
Location very convenient off the A38, Staff were obliging and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with varied choice.
The staff seemed friendly and polite The breakfast was good.
We stayed in a room in the farmhouse ,the entrance hall and stairwell was very tired looking and in need of improvement. The room was okay very average We have stayed in much better accomadation for less.
Staff couldn't be more helpful, they were so friendly. They were so organised when they had all the additional people coming in for breakfast. The hotel itself is a great building I love the layout. We had a family party in the function room, couldn't fault it, buffet excellent, disco brilliant, all in all a rather nice, pleasant stay
Yes it's a shame Wifi didn't work in the rooms but some hotels you don't get it unless you pay extra. Location isn't great but then it just off the A38 which is good for passing trade
Stayed before in upper floor and had such a nice stay booked again for a special event , as we are an elderly couple we asked for a ground floor
Bed still had old sheets on ,room smelled badly of damp we had a problem with ants which got in our cases and a disco right outside our door
Good Location, easy to find. Staff were friendly
Pretty basic, but having said that, you get what you pay for
Comfortable room, professional ,friendly and pleasant staff. Very enjoyable stay and very quiet location. Keep up the good work , thankyou
No real problems at all
Great staff and friendly Made us feel very welcome
Staff were really friendly, went that extra mile to make sure our stay was the best it could be. Memory foam bed was very comfortable too!
Breakfast was fair
Had to go and ask for new bath towels, shower blew hot and cold while bathing, double bed was far too small causing me cramp because I couldn't stretch my legs, not many power points in room, my wife had no dressing table so getting ready in the morning was a military exercise, staff were less than friendly causing me to feel uncomfortable overall very poor
