Booking in was very easy, Young man was very helpful, Room was better than I was hoping for, being disabled I was unsure about how easy it would be for me to get round the hotel and bedroom, It could not have been easier, Bed was very comfortable. After a bit of meandering (on foot) to find the place, I was pleasantly surprised. It is an old building (Tudor?) but the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the cotton linens soft, there were even robe and slippers in the room. The breakfast was good, the lady who greeted me and served breakfast was friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a great one night stay.

Risby is a lovely area, Hazlenut Cottage is in Culford not too far away. We always visit Risby Barn when we are in Suffolk, we used to live close by and knew the local areas well. There’s a tea room, garden centre and antique and collectibles for all.
