Room rate and location
Hotel need a good refurbishment
Location, and view across the sea is lovely
No free parking for hotel guests. Can't have everything I supose
friendly staff, great breakfast
building a bit tired but still very good value
Staff were polite and helpful Location was good for getting to tunnel Beds comfortable
Rooms very warm and a block to hold open the window Outdated facilities Cot not there even though requested luckily I had a travel cot Breakfast not up to much
Excellent location. Great value for an overnight stay in winter. Pleasant staff. Comfortable.
Very weak shower. Poor coffee and powdered milk in room. Needs updating.
Location good. Staff very good. Comfortable and relaxed.
If you are looking for cheap, clean, convenient, this is your place, but don't be stupid and expect Sheraton quality. Great place and value for money.
Location location location
Noise of The wood floors
easy to fond the place
no heat at the bathroom. during the night the heat did not work or has been switch off. it was cold in that room.
cost position comfy fresh bed kettle in room
décor very tired
We stayed one night and we thought it had the feel of a hotel from the good old days (what ever that may be).
Almost everything of the inventory was feeling like it could need a bit of an update.
We all enjoyed the late night drinks and the pool table after our party at the Grand 2nd year we have stayed all though it is not the most fancy of places it is warm and welcoming they must be doing something right as we all are happy to stay again
Can't think of anything
Good value for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good with very pleasant staff.
My one real complaint was the shower head and connecting flexible pipe. They were disgusting coated with a kind of fur!! Everything else was fine so this is obviously not on the cleaning program but should be. It was a big decision on whether to use the shower at all.
sea view .staff
shower took a while to heat up but we were at the top of the building
Standard of room, bed, bed linen, decor, holes in wall and skirting, reception area, tv, stains on ceiling. Awful.
The staff were great
The hotel was dirty, it reeked of damp and urine, the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a month, the carpets and furnishings looked like they were last updated in the 1980's and hadn't been cleaned of repaired since that time either, the toilet and washbasin was in a room with a sliding door as small as a portaloo. So all in all it the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure to book into and I didn't stay there, we checked out the same evening.! If that's a hotel room priced at apparently £205 and I paid £47:50 well god help anyone, I have stayed in cheaper hotels in the centre of London that were appropriately priced. If they had priced it at about £15 with breakfast I'm still not sure I would of stayed and also a small glass of wine (125ml) at £4:50 is a total piss take too.!
the breakfast was good
the hotel said it had a bar ,, but what it did not say that there could be alot of noise,,,,we did not sleep far too much noise,, and the shower did not work ,,, d,ont stay the weekend
Helpful staff Comfortable clean room Excellent location, close to town and sea
A little dated
We had a spacious room with a sea view and the hotel is just a few minutes walk into the town. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Despite there being lots of guests/entertainment, the hotel was overall quite quiet.
Location was good for town and tunnel. Good price Breakfast staff very nice and helpful
Noise from outside and rooms above.
The breakfast here is better than at other local hotels.
Various aspects of the hotel are a bit "tired" but for the price one cant complain.
Excellent value for money
Decor etc need of improvement but can't complain as very good value for money
i didn't like the fact the bed felt like a hard rock, the bath leaked and we had random people walking into our room, there wasn't a TV control. Overall not happy at all.
Car Parking outside the front door with parking permit. All details on computer so did not have to show booking form. Room was warm, clean and comfortable
Having to leave after one night.
