The very friendly welcome , and most helpful with directions , where to eat out.

Lovely couple, very welcoming, excellent breakfast and everywhere was spotless.

The owners took every care to make us feel welcome and looked after. Breakfast was superb.

The hosts are lovely, very friendly and helpful. The house and gardens are beautiful and the room was fabulous. Breakfast was very tasty!

Jo and her husband David gave us excellent information on what to do around Devon and where to go for dinner. We had a great day out in the countryside.

The owners were extremely friendly, very attentive and kept an informal guest house. The room was very well equipped with an excellent super king size bed. The facilities were very good within the room and the views excellent. The owners were very informative and helpful with regards to places to eat out and places to visit and all of this was also available in an handy guide in the room. Overall an excellent stay and very enjoyable experience

Jo & David did a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was great and served to your requirements. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Was made to feel really welcome and at home, The food was fantastic and my room very beautiful and very comfortable.

The owners were very friendly and made you very welcome.

The only problem was that it was a bit of a way to go anywhere the nearest pub for very nice food was about 20minutes drive.

We found the hospitality to be excellent. The room was immaculate and the breakfast was superb. The Spinney is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Our stay was very relaxing and we would certainly consider staying there again.

The period property with excellent viwes, was ideal for our anniversary weekend away, teamed with meeting up with friends. The Owners were very friendly and providid an excellent service.

Warm greeting. Clean room. Added touch of bottled water, biscuits and chocs in room. Freshly cooked breakfast served in light airy conservatory with grape laden vine.

One very minor niggle, poached egg came on pre-buttered toast - soggy mess. Personally I don't eat butter or marg.

Lovely B&B, easy to find along the main road. Very warm welcome. Room very comfortable with lovely view. Breakfast excellent.

The Spinney is a fair distance away from most amenities - places to eat etc. an alcohol licence would be advantageous to the Spinney also

Jo and Dave are most welcoming and excellent hosts. Went out of their way to make sure we felt right at home. The room was comfortable and well furnished, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Location was perfect for us, with great countryside views but yet reasonably close to the coast and Barnstaple.
