Friendly staff, good breakfast; small, but cosy guest house. Not far from the town centre. There was not private bath in the room, just shower. |

Everything in this place is so old and odd. Rates and position good. Fine if you touring and just looking for a place to sleep. Dont have an expectation. It does not match the 3 star AA rating & Rosette????? |

It was convenient for city centre ,the room was OK and the beds were quite comfy . The room we had was at the front of the hotel and was quite noisey from the traffic. |

Upon arrival, water download of the WC did not work. Particularly unpleasant event, also because the bathroom had no window. Despite we immediately reported the problem, it was not resolved before we left (i.e. 3 days later) |

The location was good, the English Breakfast was fine and I liked the staff. There seemed to have been a mouse in the wall making noise all night. I probably should have mentioned it to the staff, but it kind of felt like home! |

The bed is comfortable. The shower can be strong. Will appreciate if we had received directions and maps to The Sportsview Guest House. Had problem of finding it. |

good welcome and excellent service for an early breakfast; easy bus service into central Oxford; safe & moderately comfortable. The whole experience was ruined by being asked for surcharges on a previously agreed price. Business owners must negotiate their own terms with credit card companies and not expect to add to guests' bills when they are checking out. This is a horrendously bad practice. |

It was a basic budget hotel within easy walking distance to Oxford. We had an old fireplace in our room, which added charm. Breakfast was quite nice too Bed was too small (it was a double which is too small when we are used to a queen) and no extra pillows and were supplied |

A good hotel for this price. Very good location, only a walk of 10 Minutes to the center of the city.Very good shower. The bathroom was not perfect. There were a few old hairs in the bathroom. |

We were lucky to get a parking space when we arrived early in morning. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly enough. Could accommodate 3 adults in one room with 3 full size single beds. Good location, infact for a pleasant walk, if you turn right out of the house.cross over the road and just before you get to the 'four spires hotel' you'll find a gated lane/track, this will take you to the river. Turn left and walk along the river to town. We used the park and ride on our departure day, easy to use and worth while finding out about overnight parking there. Bathroon a bit tried looking but fine for a night or two. Charging extra for payment with any card.Though the chap wanted us to pay on checking in we paid next morning, after breakfast with cash, An average b&b |

Its proximity to the town centre. The bathroom did not drain properly. The toileteries were of rather poor quality. |

The twin room we were allocated was really a single room with twin beds in. Very tiny & noisy. The 'bathroom' was so tiny that the only place to put toiletries would have been on the tiny amount of floor space. The shower door kept coming off the runners & the TV was only visible from one small area of the room. When we complained the manager was not interested. Unfortunately we made the mistake of paying for 2 nights before seeing the room as the manager said breakfast time was busy & he didn't want to be dealing with people checking out whilst serving breakfast!!! Our fault there. |
