These 2 Victorian townhouses are a 10 minute walk from the center of town, and an even shorter walk from Christ Church College and the Thames.

In the heart of Oxford, across from the Ashmolean Museum, The Macdonald Randolph Hotel features sumptuous bedrooms and a luxury spa. With an award-winning restaurant, there is also a famous bar.

It is not anything like it is advertised to be,the room was very pokey, facility's was of poor standard, and way to over priced for what you get,and the cleaning staff don't bother to knock they just walked in on me and my girlfriend whilst we was undressed and didn't even apologise. We will never stay there again!
Staff wonderful, very friendly, great breakfast, very central to Oxford city. Very peaceful even near main road. Wonderful stay.
Very nice hosts, excellent location and food!
Only 10 minute walk from town centre and had its own car park which was a definite plus. Breakfast was excellent and arrived hot.
Shower did not get hot and was only lukewarm for the 2 days we stayed there so if we were staying any longer would have been an issue.
The place was clean.
wifi was almost impossible landlord was not very friendly heating was out of order during the day time, it means the room was quite cold if you want to stay in your room. They are very strict about breakfast time, 3 minutes delay caused being scolding. At 9:30 you have to be breakfast.
There is a laundromat close by and a convenience store, which were very helpful. Room was mostly quiet (we were on top floor family room). Breakfasts were good and plentiful. Room was cleaned daily and supplied with tea and cookies.
We could hear some noise from people entering and exiting their rooms, but this was not much and not often and common to most places we stayed. The pillows were hard.
Hair in shower plug hole
Size of room too cramped to move or walk about. Creaky floors tv not working when we arrived and then signal poor
The friendliness of the managers and the excellent cooked breakfast and continual service. Would recommend to others and would stay there again if I returned to Oxford.
Shower although adequate could have done with being a power shower.
Clean, friendly and mostly quiet, with an excellent choice of breakfast. Decent size shower in room that was provided.
Dated floors unevenness under carpet and noisy, but sound-proofing between rooms should be addressed.
Only a short walk to the City centre. Fiendly owner and good breakfast.
Attitude of owner
Location ideal for exploring Oxford. Bathroom looked new and very good. Breakfast was good. Beds comfortable - we had twins.
The texture of curtain The breakfast is no bad.
The length of double bed is too small to me, I'm 188cm. the room space and TV is small.not very close to city centre, it takes time to walk there.
It was walking distance to our required venue.
The bed was coated in coarse hair, we had a view of the rear car park, indeed NOT sports view! We were ensured this was a good thing as there would be 'no noise' but the water heater sounded like a jet plane for the most part of the night and there were international guests that were telling from 6pm. The toinlet was pressed against the wall and the whole set up was cramped, and smelt and felt like an old people's home. The hosts were cold and rude, and the breakfast was poor. Upon not finishing I was quizzed as to why that was the case, which was unessessary and made me feel very uncomfortable, so we swiftly left. Definitely will not be staying again and would advise you to spend your money on a much nicer place with nicer people, food, bedrooms and location.
The rooms clean and nice. good location.
Not enough parking place.
Liked all and the breakfast was very nice
nothing would stay again
Great location, tasty breakfast, friendly and compliant housekeeper
Very slow wifi connection.
Parking was on a first come first served basis for ten cars only. As we arrived quite late parking was very difficult.
Hotel is a family business who care about the comfort of the visitors. Bus station is at the corner
English breakfast was very good The owner was very kind We enjoyed comfortable room
the shower room is a little small a little far from Green Gloucester Bus station we couldn't find the location when we arrived there- a little bit complicated location, but faced to the main road
The family atmosphere. The full English breakfast. Comfy bed.
Super tiny room (but that's pretty normal in the UK). Rather expensive for a guest house in Oxford.
Clean ... Wifi ...
Noise .. I asked fir a quiet room, throughout the night until 4 am the outer door used by noisy guests contained to bang, causing a very interrupted sleep. As it was business, I need to feel at peace
Location & Bathroom facilities
Customer care was non existent due to surly front of house member of staff. Although we had decided not to have breakfast due to travel arrangements was met whilst trying to pay balance of bill with extremely rude comment "You're not having breakfast are you?!!" Would suggest some customer service training needed immediately.
