Not enoough variety on evening menu
Cleaning staff were amazing.spa facilities great.
Everything , the hotel , spa, the restaurant and the while ambience of the place .
Lovely room,great views
Queue for breakfast.....room was clearly not big enough for all guests who appeared to be arriving at same time.
Helpful staff on front desk and in business centre. Great service in restaurant. Efficient check-in and check-out. Amazing room - slept like a log despite near hurricane conditions outside.
Only staying one night due to work schedule :-(
How easy it was to get into Cardiff City Centre.
It cost £166 to stay just one night but then you have to pay another £15 to park your car. Was not impressed....
The view from the balcony was superb. The food generally tasted good.
The food was rather expensive for what it was e.g fish and chips £14. The bed was rather hard and uncomfortable.
Room was very comfortable.
Breakfast was a nightmare. Long queues, no organisation. More dirty tables than clean. Manager needs training!! Front Desk staff also disorganised. Only one lift working. The General Manager needs to get a grip here!! The room was way overpriced. Very poor value for money. This is not a 5 * hotel!
The spa is fantastic and the newly updated rooms are lovely.
The first two rooms we were shown were very worm with dirty carpets ripped curtains and worn furniture. We were upgraded to a newly decorated room and was shocked that we were charged for it. Our review is mainly on the new room.
The staff, the bar snack, the building.
The Pillows, the limited WiFi, the price of car parking
Rooms need a spruce up
Beds - Not the best compared to other large chain hotels Balcony door broken Wine selection is dreadful in bar - Tesco quality! Bar serice slow London prices!
We were on the 7th floor and the views were fabulous. The room was squeaky clean and very comfortable. The spa was brilliant and was just what the doctor ordered for a relaxing weekend.
Lovely breakfast and the pool was very good.one of the best massages I've had at the spa.
£20 upgrade don't waste ur money the room was exactly the same as my friends room I couldn't get a refund even though I complained.
Excellent room , marvellous views, was sad I couldn't stay longer !
The hotel Design stands up to the test of time ... It is a glimpse of luxury ...
Shower curtain encroaching , and ... A shamefully flimsy plastic toilet seat ,... That would not secure properly ...
Hotel architecture and location
Spa didn't have a steam room, lack of maintenance was bit evident in many hotel facilities. Parking is a robbery
Lovely stay, staff fantastic & the room was very clean & comftable, would defenetly go back again
We orderd breakfast to the room & didn't receive it, rung down & they said it would be with us in 10 mins, 20mins laterit still haven't arived so had to leave! But they did refund us the money for the breakfast!
Pool was nice and relaxing.
Rooms were very poorly cleaned. Previous guest belonging in room and mold in bath. Overall was dissapointed failed to see why a 5 star. Would of given a low 3 stat.
This is not a 5 star hotel. It is ordinary. My room was dirty and uncomfortable.
I first used the hotel for business and pleasure when it first opened. It was excellent. Compare with this trip the my room (712) was shabby, the veranda screen broken, the spa facility overcrowded with day guests, the pool cold and heavily chemicaled, the bar staff unfriendly and some of its users rough!! This was suppossed to be Wales's premier hotel. Some one needs to get a grip.
Good position, friendly staff.
Everything was outstanding! No complaints. It was wonderful time I spend in there! Comfortable and relaxing. All staff were amazing and helpful at all times. Nice experience.
