My room was lovely and enjoy the spa and breakfast.
The price, I stay there alot and don't get any offers.
Very accommodating during breakfast staff were really helpful
The rooms were of a good standard and over look the dock / harbour area. Gym and spa centre very good. Breakfast was very good.
Bar staff were inexperienced. One couple got given wrong drinks and another had drinks spilled on them.
The hotel and staff were great and couldn't do enough well worth a visit
Friendly staff, excellent location, lovely rooms and overall a great stay. Will definitely return in the near future.
The staff were generally excellent
wi fi connection overly complicated and sercetive. Newspaper ordered did not materialise and no effort to rectify. The tables in the bar area were sticky and not properly cleaned after each guest. The noise in the central atrium echoes into the rooms at night.
Bar,restaurant and evening entertainment .
The beds No free wifi
Spa was lovely
Room was to hot and bed uncomfortable poor night sleep restaurant was unbearable to eat in in morning
A pre arranged upgrade wasn't on file so had to wait for room x
Location. Polite staff.
The pool area was looking very run down compared to our last visit. (ceiling). Restaurant prices to high.
views rooms breakfast excellent
The view. peace and location
The spa and pool area not maintained to a high standard (on our first trip there in June - may have changed)
Expensive, Run down and poorly managed
Location Comfort Bar and restaurant staff excellent Speed of house keeping very good
No free wifi for the duration of my stay
Fixtures and fittings looking tired and need replacing. Cracked bathroom floor tiles, mould in places. Not the first time we have stayed, but the first time I thought the hotel was looking and feeling it's age.
We had a great view. Staff were friendly. Very helpful. Wanted to make sure we knew how to get where we wanted to go. Location was perfect for our stay.
I really didn't like the wifi situation. For a supposed 5 star hotel..you don't real free wifi. You get 'free' wifi for an hour. Then it bumps you off and you can't use wifi for 3 hours. Otherwise you have to pay. Hotel is going through renovation..which is needed..just looking a bit dated and weathered.
Spa and fitness Location
Room, apart from balcony, was nice but not what I call luxury
The spa, although it needs a lot of attention. The bed & bedding extremely comfortable. The view of the harbour, Penarth etc is awesome.
Very dirty carpet in room, turned bottom of white socks grey.. Dirty marks all over the room & bathroom. Filthy balcony. WHY is this hotel 5* ah yes, the prices!!
Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. lovely water facilities.
The helpfulness and friendliness of staff. Concierge had excellent memory for names and faces Views marvelous Bar staff very knowlegable and helpful Did not eat at hotel so I can not comment
i loved the view from my room =)
the price of the breakfast was ott
Helpful staff ,spacious room. Great swimming pool. Excellent room service and quality of meal.
The ripped curtain!
The rooms The staff The service The facilities The location The price
we loved the views and the access to a balcony. The hotel was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was not available until 7.00 am we needed to be at a meeting for 7.30 so this was too late.
Liked the upgrade to junior suite Views across the Cardiff Bay were stunning!
The blinds didn't quite black out the room, which was a bit of a problem as it was a bright morning.
