Easy access to town staff where very pleasant and approachable No faults at all
Not enough coffee
Location, good all around hotel.
I had to hunt additional towels in room as not in bathroom in wardrobe!
Spacious rooms, lovely big bath, loads of hot water, good air conditioning, comfortable bed, Good value for money, Polite and helpful staff, thought we would have to pay for parking, but it was free
Overpriced bar, room in need of redecoration, filthy kettle, my boyfriend refused to use it so didn't get a drink in the morning
Good clean room , excellent facilities.
Breakfast was cold and sent back
The room was quiet.
The bathroom was not very clean, had cracked tiles, dirty water overflow in the bath & the sealant around the basin was black. There was no wi-fi in the room. The mattress on the bed was a size smaller than the bed frame.
Very nice overall would recommend it
Getting woken up at 9am or maybe earlier by room service trying to get in to my room when check out isn't until 11 wasn't very happy
Location very close to central Solihull
The bathroom had not been cleaned. There were hairs in the bath and basin. The bath plug did not fit. I stepped on two metal curtain hooks left on the carpet. The bed was hard as a rock and the pilllows uncomfortable. The staff didn't care and gave no apology. Breakfast was a lukewarm buffet. There was a large function which was loud to the early hours. I will use Premier Inn next time.
I was tired and ready to dine and go to bed. The restaurant was unavailable with a 3 hour wait and the bar snacks had a 2 hour wait for snacks. I had to go inrto town to dine. I chose the hotel for the facilities as well as the room and I feel that the charges reflect these facilities that were not available to use and I had no notification of this or an offer of a discount I had to raise the issue twice.
Only booked one night
On arrival they could not find our booking. We were given key to room 353 not sure what grade this room was but the walk across the distorted floorboards was quite a challenge. Superior room booked - no robes or slippers. Only one towel for two. Only one bottle of water. Air conditioning extremely noisy all night long. Constant sound of running water all night long. Bar and Restaurant extremely noisy before we ventured out to the LG Arena and so loud and crowed on our return we did not venture into either area, Extremely noisy in room (music) until well into early hours.
Had to walk through the bar to get to the gym which was a bit strange
Gentleman at front reception was very friendly and polite.
£103 for a deluxe room - expected much more for my money!!! Wasn't any different from a £35 B&B Room was very disappointing!!!
I had decided to pay extra for a superior double room and was very disappointed. Room was booked for two people and set up for one. Bed was uncomfortable, furniture very dated. Very noisy as there was a party downstairs. There was no food being served in the evening for guests which I was not told when booking the room. Butter at breakfast was unsalted and no other option. Cold tap in the room was warm therefore undrinkable and unpleasant to brush teeth with.
Funnily enough, the water pressure. I ran a bath in about 3 minutes flat and it was lovely and hot. Has all the required facilities and while the rooms might be a little tired in appearance, they are reasonably comfortable and have an iron and ironing board plus tea making facilities.
Check in and check out can take a long time, especially when there is a queue. Breakfast is quite expensive. Décor in rooms is a little old and worn.
location car parking on site standard of food
very little information in rooms hotel a bit tired in need of some upgrading
we had a short overnight stay with breakfast prior to attending the Good Food Show at the NEC. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Would definitely use the hotel again.
Loved the location No problem at all with our room .. 230 Courteous staff Comfortable good size Dining room Good choice for breakfast
Whilst the service and presentation of dinner was commendable, unfortunately the quality and taste of the Lamb was not.
Location, Room, Staff, Fuss free check-in & check-out
The mattress on the bed, thin, noisy springs leading to pressure points.Ugh
Staff were very efficient and polite . Offered wifi password without having to ask. Very clean and an excellent location. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Bed was a little uncomfortable but only stayed one night, sometimes first night is always a bit strange
The breakfast was good
Car park charge
The room was cold and the heating only had one of two settings - cold or hot. The room was not of a standard expected for the money paid.
Free refreshments, tea and coffee were availlable free in locations in the hotel
One way car park
Food in restaurant was very good
Breakfast was a little chaotic. On first day nobody explained the possibility of ordering food not from the buffet. Porridge at the buffet was cold.
Food, staff and location all good
Dirty bathroom, broken tiles and taps. Dried blood on the quilt exposed by a quilt cover that was too short
