Very bad mobile signal
Quiet location. Friendly and informative staff explained my options about restaurant being closed
Restaurant closed do to private wedding party. Had to call security to get me out of main entrance to block A, Keys on fob not correct for this lock. What if there had been a fire?
Comfort of the bed and pillows
Fusty smell ,old furniture and could here everything from other guests in nearby rooms,
The room was spotless, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The food was very good.
The car parking is not near the rooms and the rooms are not close to reception. All a bit all over the place. The room was very small and at breakfast we had to sit on one long table with people we didn't know as the other tables were set for lunch!
The comfort if the room. Facilites and price.
Paid for 2 nights when we got there got a receipt, then when leaving was told we hadn't paid good job I kept my receipt.
The room was clean and tidy. Very comfy bed.
Could do with updating the wifi. Took me ages to log in and find what was the right password. Then when I did I lost the signal.
Clean and peaceful place, real value for money.
Of the road, no signs to the hotel.
if there was any other rating above excellent I would give it to them
The facilities for the price were very good
Wi Fi was poor and the restaurant was a little expensive
Best value ang great views
Comfort of bed Evening meal in bar
No wi fi available
Rung Reception at 7.45pm as no heating. 8.30pm rung Reception again. Rung again at 9.30pm 9.40pm finally maintenance man turned up. By 10pm in a different room!!!
The room is clean and comfortable with ensuite bathroom. Theres a lovely pack of toiletries waiting and refreshments too. I love this venue it has easy access to major routes in the area but you are in the country. I find staying here quite relaxing. I haven't used the on site facilities bar and restaurant but they looked good enough.
Wi-fi which is reasonably good in the evening tends to drop off first thing in the morning. Couldn't access it after 8am on the day I left.
Single bed was ok, lovely buildings but it was a working college
Heating had been off for two days so the rooms with single gkamzing were cold. Wi-fi was useless,
Room comfortable but small. Food good and shower excellent. Receptionist as helpful as he could be. If you are fit very good value for money
Although we did state we had problems with walking and stairs, the accommodation was some distance away, in another block, at the top of 3 flights of stairs. The car park was at the bottom of a steep hill and quite a walk from the block we were staying in. Quite a problem when it is slippy underfoot which it was! This needs to be made clear on the website information.
The location was to get to friendly staff very clean and warm room
I think they could invest in a lift as stairs to bedrooms and not ideal for people with mobility problems
Friendliness of staff, convenient location, cleanliness of rooms. A positive stay, would stay here again.
No rooms on the ground floor for people who walk with a difficulty.
Excellent location with reasonable facilities
The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable and needed a new mattress.
We were attending a Christmas function. Very hurried service; food moderate; disco rubbish!!! They need to look at alternative DJ's. Stayed overnight in student accommodation. No heating in bathroom so having showered in the evening had wet towels in the morning. Very small room (comfy bed though) and draughty windows. Not worth £60.00 Wouldn't go again.
REALLY COMFY,LARGE ROOM,SPOTLESS
Very nice location. Good, basic room. Great value.
No food available in the evening and no wifi in room.
Every aspect of this accommodation was exactly "as required."
There is no adverse comment.
Nice comfortable rooms, friendly staff, fantastic value
hard to find, a bit of a walk from reception to the rooms in a block and the car park
Warm, comfy rooms. Good toiletries.
