I liked the location surrounded by trees etc & nice view from the window when standing up.. Breadfast was quite nice, far amount of choice. We couldnt get a drink from the bar in the afternoon as a wedding was on, so had to make do with a class of water!.. the room was clean but quite basic, it was like student accomodation.. I thought by the picture on-line we would be staying in the main part of the stables but NO, so that was a disappointment.

I booked my room late and when I arrived there was no reception, only the security guy who was really helpful. He tried his best to give me the room I booked Stables administration should not make the hotel available online if they don't have reception during night. I booked the room late at midnight, and when I arrived the security guy told me that the receptionist leaves at 10:00pm!!' How can you make the hotel available for booking if there is no receptionist. Tanks to the security guy who tried his best to give me my room

Very reasonably priced - comfortable and clean rooms & friendly staff. The restaurant/bar wasn't open on a Saturday night, which was disappointing, though the receptionist directed us to a nearby pub for food.

Cheap accomodation when on a budget! The only negative comment is that the restaurant wasn't open at all for evening meals! Which seems to be a common thing and that means you have to eat out in the evenings!
