The Stafford London, by Kempinski  

The staff treated us like Royalty the moment we arrived for our Christmas Holiday. The Room was beautiful, large and upgraded. It was very comfortable with a fireplace and Christmas tree. A complementary bottle of wine awaited us with an unexpected invitation from Leon, the General Manager, to join in a festive Christmas Carol Party in the wine cellar. Guests were treated to a warm rum punch and a lovely Choir from a nearby church. The details of service were amazing with unexpected gifts on Christmas day arrived from the staff. Service was impeccable, the food delicious and the experience was one we will never forget. This is not a 5 star Hotel it is 10 stars or more!!!!! We plan to return next year. Fabulous and so close to wonderful shopping, restaurants and palace sites.

Comfortable beds/pillows American bar ambiance/service

Poor breakfast service, we were sat near the kitchen entrance and had to put up with all the noise and staff talking/discussions. Drafty airconditioning in the restaurant area.

Has a very nice atmosphere and is located in a great area of London. We like the area and have visited it many times.

It is without doubt a luxury hotel at an affordable price through booking.com. A central location in a very quiet cul de sac and virtually no noise at night. Like hotels used to be.

Service on the second morning was hit and miss. I had no problems but surrounding tables were less well served in terms of attention etc. It wouldn't happen at the Goring Hotel in London where I often stay.

we stayed at the Stafford Hotel in April 2011 because of works going on there we were upgraded to a suite which was mind boggling abs luxury. The staff were very good and helpful and the food was excellent. We had a lounge in our suite and we had breakfast in our room which was laid out on a table for you in the morning and was excellent. The bed was so comfortable just an excellent weekend at the Stafford.We stayed there last year and was upgraded to a King room that was brill but this stay exceeded that one. We will defl be going back again to this hotel.

De badkamer was klein, vooral de douche. Pijnlijk detail: in de douche stond schimmel onderaan de deur.

Se non parli inglese sei nei guai, nessuno dello staff lo parla e questo per essere un hotel a 5 stelle non è certo il massimo!

Jai aime la situation geographique et cest tout.

On a passe la 1re nuit dans l'a ch. 208 qui se trouvait en face de la porte anti-feu et on etait donc derangeait par sa fermeture/ouverture. On nous a change pour l'a chambre 121 qui etait sombre avec vue sur un gros tuyau et un treillis tres moche. chambres tres bruyantes due aux nombreux claquements de portes incessants et un bruit non-identifie une nuit Jusqua Minuit et ensuite a partir de 06h00. Ne vaut pas 5*!!!!!! chambres 208/121 Sont miniscules et mini bar vide. Une honte pour un tarif d'env 700euros la nuit!! Hyper decue et suis partie crevee! contente de retrouver ma maison 5* avec vue mont blanc. Le merrion a Dublin est vraiment m'a 5* de reference. en un mot - une arnaque.

I liked everything about it. It was simply the best experience we ever had & I am basing my evaluation after trying many many 5 star hotels world wide.. In my personal opnion The Stafford London has perfected it down to the smallest detail. They have excellent customer service, the hotel & room were beautifully designed with excellent ambience & very clean. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to enjoy their time in London.
