Superb,

“ We had a superbly furnished and decorated room named, Henley Hill, lovely bed and linen, glorious bathroom and comfortable living area. Hambleden is a quiet and peaceful village but with the busier but pretty town of Henley on Thames only a short drive away. ”

Friendly staff, gorgeous room, comfortable huge bed, powerful shower, real coffee in the rooms, great food well cooked, in short everything was superb! If I have to be picky, no handrail to the winding stairs to our room. Bit of a challenge for anyone decrepit like me!

The location was perfect to watch our son trial in the lightweights in Henley the following morning. He made the team! The room was lovely and warm, we appreciated the real coffee provided and the selection of teas and water, the lovely bed linen and cushions, the tasteful Christmas decorations downstairs, the elegant breakfast, and the friendly staff. On the downside but barely worth mentioning was the room was a little dusty, there was very little hot water and we did have some wifi problems BUT none of that will deter me...we will be back, room 3 please!

A gorgeous country pub with a traditional yet contemporary feel , we stayed in the long innings room which was absolutely stunning . Gorgeous bathroom I was so impressed and the meal we had in the restaurant was lovely. Only complaint we were left for quite some time after our meal and it took half an hour to be asked if we would like dessert but service at breakfast was very good.

Warm, friendly feeling from the moment we arrived. We did experience a problem with the TV in our room, but both the Manager and his staff could not have been more helpful, and resolved the issue quickly. Our room was excellent, as was the breakfast, every detail had been considered in the recent restoration of the building, which showed throughout our short stay. We really look forward to returning, and would really appreciate being advised as and when any special offers are applied. A memorable stay, for all the right reasons.

I liked the location in a very pretty village.I loved the old world charm of the hotel, and the staff were very friendly and helpfull and efficient. The breakfast buffet table was a bit sparse and could do with a revamp.

We thought the room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed (which is an important thing when you stay on holiday in different places for 2 1/2 weeks :-)...). The bathroom was excellent too, lovely strong shower. We had nice weather, so we could sit in the lovely back garden for a while at night. Everything is made up looking charming and relaxing to us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is situated in a nice quiet village. We would have stayed longer, but we were on our way back home to Germany. A nice place to stay if you want to visit South-England.
