Score from 114 reviews Wonderful
Conveniently located just off the M40 highway, The Tree at Cadmore is a traditional English country pub with a modern twist to the décor in the 16 rooms with private bathrooms.

Everything! Literally! What stands out most: - The food (chef is a genius) - The staff (amazingly friendly, feel at home straight away)
Sky sports channels in the common (pub) area would be an excellent addition. Although I didn't miss them, enjoyed reading a book for a change.
Lovely location. Nice room
Bar area tatty. The car park is used by the public. There was a football match on both days we were there so couldn't park anywhere near. Other guests very noisy. Doors slam easily
Staff were very friendly in this real ale pub. The room we had was very disable friendly. With a fully adapted shower room. The owners had obviously given a lot of thought to the facilities. Food was fresh and tasty with ample potions.
Overall, great ambience, food, comfort and service.
Room was above the bar which was very noisy until late.
Everything, bed was great, food amazing
Very nice pub in pleasant surroundings. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Convenient location for Marlow and Thames valley.
Menu choice was a bit restricted.
Comfortable and stylish room and bed, excellent breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff, in a beautiful location.
The fact that they turned a classic English pub into a Hotel in the first place!
Village atmosphere, nice walks in the woods. Decent breakfast.
The village is beautiful and the pub and rooms have been tastefully decorated to a very comfortable standard.
We arrived to find we had been allocated the incorrect room. Having booked and had confirmation of a luxury room, its understandable to be disappointed to be given a standard without any explanation or apology. Passing the blame was not welcomed and left a sour taste for us. We wouldn't stay again or recommend for that reason.
Very quiet, rural location and just perfect for escaping city life and as a base for countryside walks. Comfortable and spotlessly clean room, staff were pleasant and helpful. Very good food and a nice selection of ales in the bar.
Whilst we had no problem with people bringing their pet dogs into the bar area, as the accommodation is pet friendly, we would recommend that dogs are not allowed into the restaurant, being a designated eating area, as a courtesy to other guests.
Just about everything.
Too much noise outside the front door late evening, our bed room was right above it. The drinking glasses in the bed room were far too big, small ones would have been better not coloured pint size ones.
The hotel is situated in a pretty village and you can enjoy good food in the restaurant and in the pub. Gorgeous views around the Thames close by. Windsor can be reached in 30 minutes. A perfect place to relax and enjoy life!
The bathroom for handicapped people is less convenient for non handicapped people. Try to avoid it.
The very beautiful situation, except I took a wrong turn as I returned to the Stag late in the evening midst a storm, and found myself up a cart- track and nowhere to turn round. Must have been near Marlow before I was able to turn. And it was black dark. Nearly rang the Stag, but those two young ladies who saw me off the premises when I left would have laughed their socks off if they had heard of my mishap.
Liked the lot. A superb country inn with lovely girls in attendance, but not those two who saw me off the premises. I would strongly recommend the Stag. The price is a bit much for me as I travel on my own and have to pay the full rate for the bedroom. Mind I'm not suggesting you throw in one of those two who saw me depart as an add-on. I shall be back next Spring and next Autumn.......Wonderful in every respect! Nothing to dislike at all.
A tiny, but very beautiful village. Half way between Henley and Marlow it is ideally positioned for walking and tourist things. Lovely old fashioned hostelry with plenty of parking, good food and drink. We loved it. It may be too quiet if you want to do things in the evening but it suited us very well.
Set in a beautiful, quaint village with stunning and imaginative decor.
The location was fantastic. A quiet village with a pleasant view of wooded hills surrounding it. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere in the pub.
Everything. Hi Pete good to meet you. If the project I was down to survey comes off we will be back.
Nothing everything was cool from the car park to the welcome to checking out. All perfect.
Outstanding potted shrimps (served chilled) for dinner and the best sausages I have ever tasted for breakfast.
Intimate atmosphere. Quaintness to the bars and eating areas. Pleasant location. Good food and drinks. Attentive staff.
Noisey boards in the corridor and landing.
Relaxing location that is quite and essentially representative of a lovely British countryside. Has packing adjacent to The Stag and Huntsman. Breakfast was very good.
Nothing to mention.
Bedrooms have been renovated to provide modern facilities while retaining their "Olde Worlde" character. Breakfasts are very good
The public parts of the pub are a little drab. Rooms can be noisy from other customers drinking in the garden
good location, facitilites and beer garden
prices were pretty steep for what you goy - beer and food
Great location in a lovely village close to major attractions.
Would have liked a more diverse menu.
Too hot in bedroom No real shower in bathroom Poor food selection at breakfast
