Our stay at the Stag was very comfortable and our kids presented no problems for the staff. Friendly, warm, plenty of character and well located to explore Stratford and surrounds (by car). It is right on the A46 which seemed to carry a fair amount of traffic although this is really a minor issue. |

Food was excellent Location - quiet and peaceful. The Stag is a lovely pub/ restaurant. Staff were very helpful and service was excellent Only one of the two radiators in the room was working. An additional heater had been provided but the room was still a bit chilly |

The room was very comfortable and the food was excellent. It was further out of Stratford on Avon than we were led to believe when we booked. Only 3 miles but unsuitable roads for walking and £10 each way in a taxi. |

Lovely old coach inn where the staff make you feel at home from the moment you arrive to when you check out. The food is reasonably priced and excellent. A varied menu with both vegetarian and children's choices. There is also a specials board with more options. The rooms are reasonably big,the rooms are en suite and have plenty of storage space.Overall a good place to stay if you are visiting Stratford or Warwick. The only thing that I can find fault with The Stag is the lighting which is very subdued, even in the rooms the low energy lights were inadequate for reading with in the evening. |

The Stag really suited us as a family. My daughter and I shared a very comfortable twin room whilst my son and his family had a superb family room - the grandchildren loved it. We appreciated the food/service and we dined at the hotel for both evenings of our stay. All in all we enjoyed our time at The Stag. |

During our stay the room had a most unfortunate "sewage" smell that was most unpleasant. We did report this when we checked out. |

The helpfulness from the majority of the staff, good quality of the food and the comfortable accomodation. Shower unit needed a freshen up, water temperature not hot enough. |

The layout of the cortyard rooms gave. The helpfulness of the staff particularly when I was taken ill. The food at dinner was too rich for my taste and did not vary day to day. Curried cauliflower soup everyday! |

Having stayed at some 5 star hotels, I was not expecting much at the Stag, but was pleasantly surprised at how cosy and lovely it was. The rooms were warm, cosy and well equipped and the staff super friendly, great food. We had a wedding over two days and it was just what we needed. Value for money was excellent. It's more of a bed and breakfast hotel, so I don't feel there is anything more one could ask for - as stated above great value for money. |

Everything about our stay was spot on. From booking in, our room and service was second to none. We didn't eat at night but the menu and choice was stunning. Breakfast was superb and cooked to order. Only downside was that we were only there for one night. We plan to go back for a longer stay and make the most of the area and hotel. |

This historic Georgian hotel is in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, just 3 minutes' walk from the high street and main attractions. |
Your home away from home. Quality overnight accommodation and breakfast in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Fully non-smoking property. |
