Shower took a while to get used to
Staff very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was great and set us up for the day ahead at the festival! Thank you!
The bed was a little uncomfortable the first night but got used to it! Unusual hot water system in room, but perfectly adequate
We liked the staff, accommodation and food
Lovely room which was a chalet type arrangement. Really good for the Way of the Roses cycle route. Lovely Greek evening meal and nice breakfast. Overall a really nice experience.
Ale need a little attention - new keg might have been a bit "fresh"
The staff were very helpful and friendly, bed was very comfortable and it was lovely and quiet there, got a good nights sleep
No wifi in the room
The food was not brilliant. Best to eat elsewhere.

The good food and village pub atmosphere. The rooms where very comfortable.
Nothing to dislike
clean room with tea and coffee .
The rooms were clean
The pub was basic town pub/bar. Resuratnt truckers cafe style
Friendly and efficient staff. Good facilities for relaxation including friendly bar, restaurant with good food. Really good breakfast. Good location for coast and countryside (Wolds) visits.
Poor reception for mobile phone signal and wifi signal was poor - unable to connect in room.
The bedrooms were away from the bar. Nice large bathroom catering for disabled in a twin room.
Breakfast advertised as available from 7.30 - 9. We said we would PROBABLY arrive closer to 9. This was 'misunderstood' as being at 9 and when we arrived at 8.20 the place was locked up. No-one answered the bell. No breakfast. The restaurant meal was nice the first night. On the afternoon of the 2nd day we booked the same table in the restaurant for dinner that night. On arriving were told restaurant closed due to a monthly meeting and we must eat in the bar. Overdressed for bar meal and not what we wanted. Had to go out and find somewhere else to eat. Trip was spoiled so left a day early. Lady owner claimed to be mortified - but no offer to refund third night. Also - room was basically clean but cobwebs everywhere.
Fantastic welcome, great value for money, real home cooking, great evening food
Rooms basic but very comfortable, Wi-Fi only in main restaurant
