Location Rooms Parking Price
Lunch was awful Staff were not friendly or helpful
Free Wifi with good internet speed. Generally pleasant hotel staff. Cleanliness and comfort.
Room didn't get cleaned at all one day leaving me short on tea/coffee making. One of the male staff working in the restaurant area had a severe BO problem which was off putting while being served by him. Management should act on this.
The room was spacious and bed was comfy.
There was a constant revving noise as I think we were next to the boiler room, but went on through the night hence we stayed there for two nights and didn't sleep well at all, which when you go away for a break isn't very good (room 16).
The disability room is very well appointed. The staff were very friendly and the room spotlessly clean. The location is both quiet and convenient with plenty of parking which can be a real problem in Aberystwyth.
We were there for 6 nights and the only negative thing was that porridge was on the breakfast menu, but never available! With a large supermarket close by, it was difficult to understand why the problem wasn't rectified. Also, when we booked we requested lactose free milk and that wasn't available, however there was plenty of gluten free bread for which we were very grateful.
The room was a decent size, good bathroom and plenty of parking. I arrived quite late and managed to get food in the a joining pub.
Comfortable, had what we needed.nice and quiet for a Saturday night.
Exit for cars was very long if wanting to go in to town.
Comfortable, spotless, lots of free parking, nice breakfast
Over priced @ £69.95. Hairdryer didn't work.
Friendliness of staff. Fast free wifi. Comfort of the bed. Ample parking. Decent food in the pub. Nice, quiet sleep.
Room heating was poor. Lack of storage space in room.
Everything.Rotisserie chicken was fab.
Location is good for travelling through Car Park
The accommodation block smelt of body odour - throughout The Staff are really rude - like you are an inconvenience. We waited to be sat and then were made to feel like a burden just for wanting to do things like order dinner. Generally staff seemed like they were new and completely untrained.
Good Breakfast Rooms were warm and clean
Thoughtful layout of rooms and free wifi
Excellent location, clean and comfortable. Free parking
Only one cup of coffee at breakfast!
The accommodation and the breakfast. Also the location and Aberystwyth itself.
The evening meal at the restaurant. We had to wait a long time for our food and when it eventually arrived it was cold and very disappointing.
Everything was there that you needed, towels hairdryer etc.
Would have liked some shampoo.
Approachable staff who initiated a conversation.
No problem to report
Housekeeping leaves a bit to be desired
Comfortable and affordable rooms
Room cold on arrival and took a while to warm up. Having to walk from the accomodation to the restaurant in the open air 0- it was freezing. Bar area is small. No cups at breakfast and staff not too bothered
Position - access to uni/town centre. Restaurant - food/beer all good. Rooms - clean, not cramped. Carparking/internet - free. Staff - friendly, helpful.
Variable prices - dramatic change from reasonable to unreasonable during high demand periods, I don't book it during the unreasonable periods.
The food was tasteless and the tea and coffee was absolutely disgusting... Also the glasses and cutlery definitely had not been washed...it was very disappointing
Rooms were cosy and comfortable and a delicious breakfast included!
A basic double room that was clean and comfortable. For a one night stay it was spot on
Pillows were a bit hard for me personally
No problems with location or parking. Helpful staff.
No concession for single traveller. I'd have eaten two breakfasts if I could!
cleanliness of room, location to town and breakfast facilities, staff great, very friendly to my disabled relative
pillows, had to ask for more, but were too high and too low, sorry to be picky. entrance to hotel not very obvious, had to go to pub first ,doesn't say this on website or door to hotel
