The Studley Hotel  

Superb location for all Harrogate has to offer. Orchid Restaurant is excellent.

Stayed in room 22 (again). Lighting in room is very poor for men shaving and ladies for make-up. Personally beds are on hard side. 2 Pillows are too high, 1 Pillow too low. (We have mentioned these issues previously. Everything else excellent.

Excellent restaurant, car park and friendly staff.

We were in Room 11 for 3 nights. The bed was very low (no higher than 2 feet) and extremely hard. We thought that all the beds in the hotel were the same but noticed on our last day that the rest of the rooms in the hotel are traditional ie mattress on a frame. Apparently this is the only room in the hotel with such a bed. The bed was inappropriate for guests in their 60s as it was very difficult to get in and out.When guests check in at the hotel the receptionist should bear this in mind. When we complained on our departure the receptionist was very apologetic but that does not help your back problems.

I think it was very central to the town centre. I also felt that the hotel had a very welcoming feel to it.

Lovely quiant hotel. Our second visit. The Orchid restaurant is amazing. Staff very pleasant.

The staff were excellent and facilitys also excellent.

We were in a suite at the rear of the hotel next to the car which was very noisy in the very early hours of the morning with staff emptying bins etc, also bin men came to empty the bins at 6.30 am waking both of us.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! I booked this trip for my boyfriends birthday and the hotel staff could not do enough to help make this a memorable trip. The room service was fantastic and the meal in the restaurant at night was the best food we had ever tasted! I asked for a cake to be delivered to the room the next day for my boyfriend and it was exactly at the time I asked and my boyfriend loved it. The breakfast was superb and the waitress kept us fed and watered ready for the day ahead! The room was amazing, especially the walk in shower! We stayed in the trimbach suite which is said to be the best room and we couldn't agree more! We would definitely go back for another visit in the future maybe when the weather is nicer!

Excellent location, close to park and shops. Chic decor both in public areas and bedrooms. Rooms comfortable and well furnished, we were upgraded to a suite and had a lovely lounge area to relax in. We stayed New Years Eve and had a very enjoyable evening, great touch was the Scottish piper at midnight. Excellent choice at breakfast, staff are all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

I enjoy the boutique nature of the hotel. The staff and always attentive, friendly and willing to help. I've stayed many times before and will always make it my first option when going to Harrogate.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

We appreciate the hotel was part of the Thai Restaurant but the hall ways and room did smell all the time of Thai food. Our room was small and basic for the tariff charged and the previous occupants false eyelashes lay on the carpet! Other than that we had a very pleasant stay.

The Orchid Superior room was perfect with 'all mod cons' and plenty of space. We dined in the Orchid restaurant which was fabulous.

The location of studley of hotel was ideal for my xmas shopping trip,so close to the shops. The hotel is furnished to a high standard. Staff are very professional and friendly
