Lovely peaceful location. Very helpful and friendly host.
Comfortable bed and facilities, warm welcome from host, delicious breakfast
everything- wonderful bed, great breakfast, friendly host.
Everything 100 per cent value for money. Breakfast - Tanya would win Masterchef !
Leaving ! !
Very welcoming and kind. Superb facilities. Overall, great hospitality. A brilliant night stay to end an enjoyable birthday.
The location is great, the suite is extremely comfortable and the owner very welcoming and friendly.
We didn't realise until we arrived that we could have included breakfast, "booking.com" did not include this information. Unfortunately, the property is up for sale, what will we do on our next visit?
was really like having you own home - lounge, bathroom, bedroom, patio. Very private. Lovely breakfast. Was great to have fridge with fresh milk for tea/coffee (provided)
Pretty much everything Huge bed Very clean The comfiest couch Great restaurant nearby the Ship Close to channel tunnel A very nice Tanya
Superbly comfortable, beautifully decorated and appointed, this suite is an oasis of peace and quiet and close to all local a amenities. Nice touches like fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits replenished every day helped to make our stay very enjoyable.
We stayed for one night, its roomy, spotlessly clean, got a very comfy bed in a very quiet road. Tanya the landlady was friendly, efficient & cooks a great breakfast. Would recommend to others.
Very few things - very weak shower so weak that it distracts from the value a wee bit. There is a bath provided as well. A small gripe only as we had a great stay. Steep steps if have mobility issues - we did not & it was fine.
Very clean, very comfortable bed, lovely sitting room and terrace. Nice touches such as bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge.
Very weak wifi connection
Stayed for one night prior to catching the Eurotunnel for a 3 week trip and what a really good start to our trip. Everything was spot on in the apartment and it was only 10 minutes from the tunnel. Do not hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed.
Breakfast was very good and was nice to have own patio and entrance.
Nothing not to like.
Overall Cleanliness and Ambiance.
Not the owners fault but No Internet for the time stayed also, No Credit Card Facility and told we had to pay cash on departure with no discount offered to compensate these loss of facilities. Finally and equally disappointing, Although our Fault for apparently not ticking the box for breakfast when booking, no accommodation or help was offered to remedy this even though we was fully prepared to pay what ever extra it cost. Overall the lack of essentials we booked and needed made the stay extremely below average, which is a shame when you consider how presentable the accommodation appeared on arrival.
Beautiful place and location. Easy access to Channel Tunnel, great views. Very friendly and accomodating host.
We liked the comfort and privacy. Tanya was an excellant hostess and the breakfast was great !
There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like !
It was a very comfortable and just perfect for a quick get-away to The Shuttle the next morning. We did not have breakfast as we had an early start, but that was our choice. Lovely bed!
There was nothing to dislike.
Everything - clean and comfy
It was perfect
Very comfortable bed and luxurious fittings and décor. Very welcoming and professional. Extremely clean. I needed somewhere relaxing and comfortable to stay and it fitted the bill perfectly. Excellent value for money.
Door handle to the suite was broken, making closing it quite difficult.
The beds were comfortable and the suite was very clean
It didn't feel that private with an adjoining door to their house straight into the suite and I could hear quite a bit of noise coming from upstairs, creaking floor boards and people talking etc, didn't think it was value for money
Everything was lovely.Very clean and comfy.Particularly liked the huuuuuge bed!
Not a criticism, just a personal comment. We would have liked curtains at the bedroom window to keep out the early morning light.
Very clean, nicely furnished & spacious suite in an enviable residential area with discreet access for guests & free on site parking. Very nice partial sea views. Very comfortable large bed, egyptian cotton bedding & lots of useful hanging / drawer space. Fridge was certainly a welcome addition as well as lounge and bedroom TV. Would highly recommend this home from home - expect this easily trumps most outdated hotels in the region.
Wifi access (free) is fairly weak but still possible to access in certain spots. Sandgate is notorious for lack of mobile signal - obviously not the fault of the owner!
Everything! Plenty of storage, a really comfortable bed, generous breakfast, roomy bathroom, and lots of little details taken care of. Hythe is a very pleasant 40-50 min walk along the Military Canal or sea front, and there is a bus stop with regular buses to Hythe, Folkestone and Canterbury at the bottom of the hill, on the main road. Tanya was very friendly and welcoming, and our stay was extremely pleasurable.
We could find nothing to dislike. However, for those with mobility difficulties, there are a number of stairs up to the front door, and the hill down to the main road is very steep. Finding a parking spot at the bottom shouldn't be too difficult though.
The location, standard of accommodation, and welcome.
The shower control needs attention as does the shower screen seal.
